I took my daughter to receive her first Pfizer vaccine and the Pharmacist went on about how the vaccine was still in experimental stages. She also stated that it caused cardiomyopathy and coagulopathy in young people, especially children. She also stated that it could cause infertility. I feel that the Pharmacist should better educate herself rather than spreading fear among the community. I work as a medical professional and I receive all the current data from the CDC, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and AdventHealth. This encounter caused me to lose my confidence and faith in Walgreens to supply me with my pharmaceutical needs. I left questioning the competency of this Pharmacist. Furthermore, after the shot was administered, there was no post care or talk of possible immune response from receiving the vaccine. She just left and told us to have a nice day and that we could leave in 15 minutes. Very unprofessional. I visited this Walgreens on 07/29/2021 @ 1430. I'm leaving the date and time so that there is a record of which pharmacist was staffed. I did not see a...
Read moreI scheduled an appt for the vaccine online and filled out the redundant paperwork they required before I arrived I was early no one else was waiting. The pharmacist was sitting right next to the check in window but didn’t even acknowledge I was standing there. The tech was waiting on ppl in the drive thru. Finally said I’ll be right with you in a tone that sounded and looked exhausted as she went back to the window.
Not sure who runs this store now but it used to be much more friendly and organized. That’s why I gave 2 stars. But I left without getting the vaccine tonight because I rushed to get here directly from work out of respect for their time, I expect the same.
If they run a business they should at least act like they care about their customers. Well they should if they want my business that is.
I know how much pharmacists make so maybe he doesn't really care about the stores reputation, not sure. Maybe management will see this review and make a change. But I’ll go to Publix to get the vaccine, I think they still care about providing good...
Read moreToday at 9am Sept 3rd 2021 is date of this incident . Constant 25 to 20 minute waits even when only customer in line. This includes inside line and drive through. This is a consistent issue . Finally today after getting the text the medicine was ready to pickup it was not ready. Not a single person waiting for prescription ahead of me. It will be just a minute I was told . 35 minutes later customers came and went and the order was filled however the pharmacist had to ok it. He came out gave shots to customers with me standing there still waiting .. This was the same pharmacist + prescription I waited 30 minutes to pick up a few days before but was told I couldn't because it wasn't compatible with the other one they filled even though my wife had been getting them together for over a year . Then got the call to come back to get it. My wife is 82 with dementia and I am her only caretaker and she shouldn't be left alone. When the pharmacist returned it took him 5 seconds to stick on the label and ok it . Will soon change away from...
