Arkham Asylum Comics — Local services in South Daytona

Was in the area so I stopped in this Local Comic Book Store (LCS). Location in one door has toys/collectibles and the other side is where all the comics are. Back issues are super easy to go through and priced fairly through out all the boxes they have in the store. All the trade paperbacks were near the back of the store and the selection there was good enough. Comics were also bagged/boarded and they had some interesting wall comics. The layout of the back issues make going through the boxes and boxes of comics a straightforward process without breaking your head.

I am giving this LCS a 4/5 stars due to I was purchasing an used trade paperback without a price. The worker at the store had to call the owner where the owner just gave out a price. Thankfully the price was within my price range so I purchased the book. With that being said, everything should be priced without having to guess on a price based on a phone call from the store owner. The comics were priced but all used trades should been priced as well. A little nick pick, but I think it is a serious one because it could rub the people the wrong way and I do believe that if a store is selling anything used that it should be priced.

Other than that, it's a good LCS and I like the layout of their back issues and easy to find stuff. They also do new comics as well so if you buying new comics, this is also a good place...

Went in to trade cards like I have done at this location many times. This most recent experience landed a bad review; I had a terrible experience. Mr Marco had a bad attitude from the moment I was brought to him to trade. He remained seated and attending whatever was on his computer instead of the business I was there for. He kept asking me what the value for the items I brought were. Then told me I was overinflated, and that he didn’t want anything unless it’s an expensive chase card he doesn’t have yet. After leaving and posting a review about my experience on facebook, he then decided to retort that he wasn’t in the wrong. This is childish behavior. Be careful when buying from children....

I just started collecting Pokémon cards again. I use to collect the original 151 back in 1999. Thankfully, they came out with a S&V 151 pack based off the original. This comic book store has such and amazing selection of Pokémon cards packs and sets. The gentleman behind the counter helped me tremendously. He took the time to answer any and all questions that I had and actually educated me on everything a new Pokémon collector would need to know. The prices are extremely reasonable. I've been to another comic book store that broke the sets up and sold the packs individually at a huge mark up. I highly recommend this comic book store for all your collection needs. I am a...
