This is the very first time me and my mother came here today,it is very clean and quiet no children running every where and noisy,the workers is working ,not flirting or looking at teens,the employees was amazed when they heard that the food town on 8800 W Sam Houston Parkway how they laugh at us because we buy a lot of food,we have clients,so we shop with their cards,some in that other food town be putting food in the basket be saying how much more she got! They be angry because we have a lot of food and they be making fun of us they made us feel so embarrass every time we go to the other food town like it's a crime to buy a lot of groceries,the one like the bissionet area,this one on shaver is very extra kind,they are friendly,these at the other food town is very mean,I don't have to put up with javier and mr.louis,the man at this store came and cleared the register with no problem,I didn't hear no ugly remarks,hollering at us and talking to us really bad and the other food Town the employees be playing,old men looking at the young girls,not here ,the products is fresh and great prices,the check out lady was so beautiful she went to get us chick o sticks,they communicate wellwith one another and they are on top of things,one worker she sees stuff out of place and she put it back in place and she check each isle,one manager checks the food their regularly,I love this place we found I give it 100,000,000, stars,I the other food town manager checking out,he see my mom and I coming he would shut it down and say I'm close,they are mean very mean and we went to the other one in march,the worker after he stock the lady basket,he was playing with her baby,when they left,he just stood there while my 83 age of mother stocked her own basket,thank you shaver food town...
   Read moreThe manager today was so rude Richard Garcia! We are in the middle of a freeze and there is no water no where. We came to this food town and it was super busy and understandable because so many stores are closed. There was no carts and we havenât had water in a week so we carried the water but we ran into another family member there who let us put our water in her cart. When we went to pay we let the cashier know she was paying for hers and we were paying for ours. She was ok with it and was understanding since they had no more carts. The manager Richard Garcia went over there aggressive and was very unprofessional and started taking our water out after my family member had paid for her stuff and he tried to deny us getting our water saying we had to have separate shopping carts so my husband said he would just carry ours. SMH! Even though there was no more carts. My house needed this water for our family and children. We were even helping others to stay at my house who didnât have light. Even though it kept turning off and on because of the freeze. The baby that was at my house also needed water for her milk. We understand itâs limited to 2cases. We werenât braking any rules and there was no signs saying âper cartâ. Richard Garcia is a sorry manager and shouldnât be one. We even offered to show our I.d that show two different addresses!    Read moreFoodtown was fine. Not very many customers. Other than when I was in the ile where the waters are, a customer fell down. There was water on the floor. It was an older lady who fell. The employees need to check more often to see of there is anything on the floors. I called a manager for her because I couldn't pick her up. I'm handicap. I felt bad.
When manger came over he asked her for her information. I asked him to give the lady his name and phone number from the store. Manager replied she didnt need it because he only takes the report and someone else would call her. That anyways there's the camera that it shows it. Yes fine. That's true. But it wasnt going to hurt anything or anyone if he gave his name. I think a manager shouldn't respond that way. That was very rude. Then her told her someone would call her. The customer told him to take my information because I was there at that time and I had seen her fall. I felt like her didnt care but he did get my information.
I think this so called manager needs to be trained more on how to treat a customer. Then he train his employees on to be more aware of things on the floor.
