El Regio disco — Restaurant in South Houston

I attended a tejano concert here on Thursday night. There is a parking fee (it’s not valet) to park in their own parking lot, you do pay to a door fee and the waitress charges you $20 if you want to sit at a table in the back. All tables close up already have a Reserved sign on it. This particular night there was maybe 50 people Max! Meaning those tables that have reserved on it, Obviously were not reserved just another way they charge you money. Because no one sat there, they stayed empty all night! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE Horribly hot Old building LOTS OF CIGARET SMOKE don’t bother getting the tables for $150 they’ll put you in the funky back END of the place you cannot see the performers in because the AC is in the fans are blasting and the by the dance floor the $150 section did not have any ventilation. They only had two fans, so all the smoke kept coming to our area because there was no ventilation. There was only two fans. It was so bad I had to get out of there. I cannot deal with a place with a lot of cigarette smoke four dollar bottles of water. I really miss Herrera‘s night club clean, classy AC blowing tables worth your money. It was a long time that we had went there. It was.very good. We had a lot fun. The DJ is very good. The only thing that I didn't like is their service. It took a long time for the waitress to notice us. The first one right way she noticed us. But the second one no she had to come twice for our waters. They also need to turn on their AC .
