I had an outstanding experience at the bike rental shop on 5/19/2023! Jessica, the staff member who assisted me, was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. The rental bikes were in impeccable operating condition, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. I was impressed by the overall friendliness of the entire staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Not only were the bikes top-notch, but the shop's facilities were also well-maintained. The restroom was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the presence of a water refill station, allowing riders to stay hydrated during the bike ride. Additionally, each rental bike came equipped with a lock and a helmet, ensuring both safety and security.
One minor note: for the bike bell, it requires pushing down the lever. Once I figured it out, it worked perfectly.
I highly recommend this bike rental shop to anyone in need of a quality rental service. They truly deserve all the 5-star reviews they receive. I am already looking forward to doing business with them again. The rental price of $30 per standard 7-speed bike, plus the 8.75% tax, was completely worth it for the exceptional...
Read moreBest spot to get rentals in Lake Tahoe. When I first got to Lake Tahoe I was looking for some nearby kayak rentals where I’m able to use it all day for a good rate price. Majority of the places I was looking at they would charge a bit more for a kayak rental and we weren’t able to use it for too long , max hrs was 5 hrs for $125 depending on the place and kayak you’re trying to get a rental from and also another thing was that you had a limit zone where you’re able to only use your kayak. After doing some more research I was able to find Pine Nut Cycle Shop and Rentals online , and when I looked at their rentals pricing and the type of service they do , I went the next morning and was able to get a double seated kayak for a good price , and the best thing was that I was able to take it wherever and keep it overnight, although they charge a fee of $15 which isn’t bad at all when you have it all day to yourself and just turning it in the next morning. Overall, this will always be my stop when it comes to getting rentals, as well their staff...
Read moreWhat a great experience. Everyone was very nice and the process from walking in the door to riding away was fast and simple. No hassles. No group meeting about a bunch of rules you are not gonna listen to. Most renters already know how to ride a bike and have survived doing that for a while, I think they get that. We rented the electric assist bikes and they were great. We went over 26 miles and the battery was still over half full. We got a 5 minute expiation on how the assist worked, it’s easy, and we were off. We rode the bike trail to the end, went to the lake at every opportunity, crossed 89 into camp Shelly, then went all the way up Fallen Leaf Road to the town dock and waterfall. What a great ride that was. All in all a wonderful day made possible by the fine people at the Pine Nut Cycle Cafe. Oh and the return of bikes at the end…. Easy. We even got some great restaurant advise. They are...
