Melo and partner run this art focused gallery and I have to say I had so much fun visiting. They invite other artists to set up pop-up tents outside their door and now have an artist in residence to boot. They are so supportive of Tucson, especially South Tucson and of local artists in general. While I was blown away by some the artwork and the variety of mediums (huge canvas, smaller canvas, photo books, knick knack collectable, and even coloring books and game boards make by the artists, I was most impressed with the number of parents bringing their young artists in to meet the fabulous artist, Melo. There are other smaller prints exploring the lifestyle of Hispanic American. The prices are inexpensive when you realize the SCENE IN A BUS print was acquired by the LACMA in Los Angeles . These imagery will enrich any sophisticated collection here and abroad.
