Old Pueblo Trolley, Inc — Attraction in South Tucson

This is basically a very unique glimpse into the history of public transportation in Tucson and to some extent AZ, the USA and world. Museum covers the beginnings (horsecars) up through the recent past. It is possible to clamber into the same bus or trolley (In my case, with Grandmother in Philly ca. 1961) that your parents or grandparents used. My mother, aunts, and MIL all used to talk about riding the trolley at all hours in absolute safety . The equipment is very hands-on, with clever and thoughtful restorations both complete and on-going. A REAL working museum....

Went there with my wife today, our first visit. What a wonderful museum! Mark gave us a personal tour and boy does he know his busses and bus history. The bus models that he builds by hand are awesome, be sure to see them. Mark is a former driver for Tucson Transit, I’m a former driver from Wis.
