Gil's Boxing Gym — Local services in South Tucson

Terrible customer service. I don’t know what the owner’s issue is but even after he was very rude to me over the phone when I was inquiring about the gym a couple weeks ago, I still showed up for a free trial class. I absolutely loved the gym and everyone that I met. The Coach wasn’t available that day, but I was able to train with one of his trainers and I met a nice lady that seemed to be running the gym. Her and I spoke about pricing and she gave me a form to fill out when I was ready to join the gym. I reached out to Coach Gil today to talk about the pricing discounts previously discussed with the lady, and he basically told me he didn’t want my business. I feel discriminated because of my age considering he was more concerned about that when I talked to him over the phone and thru text. My money is green just like everyone...

Poor Coaching & Unprofessional Behavior. I am extremely disappointed with Coach Gil. The coach shows little to no support for the students and frequently belittles parents who try to advocate for their children. Instead of fostering a positive, encouraging environment, there is constant negativity, favoritism, and a lack of constructive feedback. As a parent, I expect a coach to inspire and guide young athletes, not dismiss their efforts or make them feel inadequate. The disrespectful attitude toward parents who ask questions or express concerns is unacceptable. If you're looking for a coach who truly cares about player development and respects families, I would not recommend this program. There are much better...

Coach, I'm truly a fan of your efforts! Your dedication to improving others, both in and out of the ring, is admirable.
