This place IS not was but is SPECTACULAR!!! The service these people offer, could bring me to tears of JOY!!! They fed and treated my family and I SOOOOOOO well that I fell in love! The food I ordered HIGHLY recommended was the Sonoran Tacos de Birria with side of Caldoito de Jugo de Birria and all the fixings on the side! Side of Pepsi of course... These workers did SOOOOO great got me wanting to clean my own table up... Now keep this in mind they closed at around 3pm they did not make us feel like hurry up n eat so we could close. They kindly gave us our check with a slight hint by just them cleaning up the restaurant. So we politely n hurried up a bit. They deserve the 5 star rating because never have I ever decided to get up smile and waive. I also suggested a raise to our server and offered to close the door, actually I did close the door! Out of courtesy so no one else gives them a hard time because they were closed. So to avoid them from all that I closed the door with their permission!!!! What kind of restaurant makes you wanna do that??? CROSSROADS !!! THATS WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY??? I tip my hat off to the service AND the food!!! KUDOZ Guys , you all did right by me and...
Read moreMeh!!! Service was so so, when we walked in during lunch time the hostess/waitress lied to us from the start, stating that they have a very good lunch buffet. WRONG!! FAKE NEWS!!! 😝 it was not very good at all. Dry chicken tacos, dry mini chimis, not so tastey Molé, pork pozole that had decent flavor but was all broth and almost nothing else, steak ranchera that just seemed like it was a kind of dry version of beef stew with tiny pieces of meat that you could barely tell were there. The Michelada was good as well as the iced tea. But I kind of find it hard to justify $15/person bill we ended up with considering the low quality of food for a lunch buffet. To be fair, I will say that you are better off ordering off the menu as opposed to going with the buffet which was the plan until we were suckered into going with the buffet. I have eaten here in the past and it was not bad. Lesson learned! But for the straight up false statement, the lack of quality of the food, the supposedly clean but crusty dishes, and the incredibly loud in volume music. This restaurant gets only a stretched three stars from me being generous. Don't let them sucker you in to the buffet people!! Order...
Read moreWe have so many great choices in this area for Mexican food, and given we had never been here we thought we would give it a try. The moment we discovered it was a breakfast buffet (and only $10 plus change) my husband was ALL in.
The first thing that I loved about Crossroad was their parking spaces. They just seem huge to me, so no cramming cars in and getting door dings here.
The service was great, yes even though it was a buffet (although you can order from the menu). The server checked in often for drink refills and cleared plates. There was also a lady making eggs to order plus waffles/pancakes in the small buffet area. While the buffet area is small there is plenty to choose from when you think Mexican breakfast food. Chilaquiles, Chile Rellano, Pozole, Menudo, Potatoes, Beans, Calabasitas, and the list goes on. There is also a fruit/salad bar area, fresh tortillas and toasted bollilo and...
