It’s hard to believe, but there’s only a few summer weekends left! ☀️ If you’re looking to spend a fun day out with the fam, we recommend checking out Fairways in South Windsor. This nostalgic mini golf course has been around for over 50 years, and the courses are more challenging than they appear! The course has a par of 42, but we may have gone at least 20 points over 🫣😂 It’s the fun that counts! Before we golfed, we grabbed some hot dogs at their stand for lunch. They have a convenient “Fairway Special” of two Mucke’s hot dogs and a soft drink, or you can also choose kielbasa dogs or red hots 🌭 After our game, we were ready for something sweet! They use Gifford’s and Hood ice cream. Our soft serve and chocolate milkshake hit the spot! 🍦 Before we left, Colten took a few swings at the batting cages to relive his Little League days! It’s $2 per 15 balls ⚾️ We never knew about this little gem, but we’re so glad we found Fairways! It was super laid back and reasonably priced. You can find Fairways at 75 Spielman Road on the border of South Windsor and East Hartford, open daily from 10am-9pm from spring to fall, weather permitting. #foodofct #minigolf #connecticut #hartfordcounty #thingstodoinct

We had a fun family day at Fairways! Cute little golf course that was more challenging than it appeared. Reasonably priced hot dogs and ice cream with a shaded seating area. Our only critique was that the batting cage equipment was a bit on the older side, but otherwise this is a cute spot to know about and spend some time on a nice day!

My 1st and last visit the old man is rude the way he treated me was terrible. The batting cage equipment is old so I understand it may have its issues. I put my token in and it only threw 3 balls ok no big deal! As I’m telling him the situation he tells me he was watching me and it all 15 balls came out basically calling me a liar. HIS ATTITUDE IS Disgusting. And I know why he treated me the way he did it was all in his face I was judged on my race never in my life would I come...

Me & my family have come here multiple times this summer. The staff were so nice & friendly. We played the mini golf, then afterwards had ice cream afterwards. They have a variety of food items to choose from. They also have batting cages too. And have a small shop with clothing etc. For sale. A great place to bring the kids, a date or family. I highly recommend this...

Very outdated with almost no maintenance done to the course. On one of the holes my daughters ball and I got stuck on the bricks because they were missing a piece of the metal ramp. Most of the holes are not pitched into the ground so it makes it unnecessarily hard to get the ball in. If the staff, balls, and putters weren't good it would have...
