Subway — Restaurant in East Hartford

During the Covid 19 pandemic, it is important for everyone to do their part to keep the community safe. 2 of the 3 employees I encountered the last time I was at this subway location were not doing their part. When I asked one of them to put their mask on properly before handling my food, she rolled her eyes and let it fall down again as she was preparing my meal. Another had no mask on at all and went between handling money to handling customer's beverages without washing hands or changing gloves. DO NOT EAT HERE. Not worth your hard earned money. I ordered double the meat because subway usually serves the driest meat sandwiches. I thought that might help the taste as I was craving a cheesesteak with sub crunch. The sub crunch was absolutely STALE no crunch at all just stale spongy pieces. The sandwhich was wet only at the ends where they were also soggy. The rest of the sandwich was dry as anything even with two sauces added to it. The bread was stale as well. Every single time I order online, they get my order wrong and just give me basically ANYTHING. I go today, memorial day clearly no one here wants to work. It is 11 am and Both doors are locked, open sign is off but someone is at the sandwhich table prepping. Store hours say it opens at 9am. Just shut this location down, the one up the street never disappoints. Manager also came in yelling “WHAT IS GOING ON” and runs to turn the open sign light on. Honestly would do -1 if I could.
