I visit this store once every two months, so not a lot. Invariably I will get assistance from cashiers because I don't have my Kohl's card eith me or I am not sure if the coupon discount I got in mail applies to my purchase. Literally every time I need help with something, I don't have a lot of disposable income and am just not much of a shopper I guess, so I always need help with something and they always help. However this time customer service really hit it out of the park. I just called and spoke to Tanisha Cole about something I now see on my receipt from two days ago that I did not purchase. I figured I would need to go there in person but just wanted to ask what steps I can take. She had me read off the date, time, register number and transaction number, then placed me on hold. Not too long later she was able to verify that item was indeed scanned in error and was able to refund it to my Kohl's card. I was worried that I was put of luck, I mean- how could I prove I didnt purchase this large ticket item? But Tanisha really saved the day, and didn't make me feel like she thought I was trying to "get away" with something to boot. Thank you! (Hoping I spelled...
Read moreI was in the store for about 10 minutes. My goal was to run in and pick up a few costume jewelry pieces and run out. The selection was good, the store was organized, and clean. The prices were okay. Now if you are one to carry around the Kohls cash or coupons, the prices probably would have been fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't have either. I found a really perfect necklace and earring set for $8.50. Awesome! I found a bracelet with an $18.00 tag on it. The chart said $9.90. It rang up $12.40 or something like that. It was over $12. I told the clerk and she ignored me. She didn't bother to check, suggest she would check or anything. I was annoyed as I went back to the rack and asked her the name on my bracelet. It didn't match the sign, but I chalked it up to someone putting it in the wrong area. The clerk never commented. She just asked me to sign for the purchase. It may not be such a life changing event, but I thought she could have been more service oriented, especially since people have choices on where they choose to spend...
Read moreCustomer service is horrible. Response time is horrible. I had two orders for drive up and ended up having to go in the store to get my second order after the employee said he would be right back with it, I spent an hour picking up 10 pillows... then as I went to customer service to complain about it they hit me with âitâs really busy in hereâ. They had absolutely nothing else to say. (They claim they were so busy but everyone that worked there was moving like they didnât have a care in the world.)Yeah okay I get that itâs âbusyâ but itâs a drive up, a drive up that they said was ready to be picked up. If something is already ready it shouldnât take almost an hour to get it to someone. âYou donât even have to leave your carâ Is what the email said but guess who had to leave their car. Not to mention I got a text to my phone that said my order had been picked up but it hadnât, I was only in the parking lot for a minute. Then I called to let someone know and she put me on hold for so long that I ended...
