This was my first time at the market. I came around 11:30am and still had an hour to check what the vendors offered. I was disappointed how small the market was, with only a few stands. Choices were poor but that’s possibly I got there late. The bakery stand only had 3 loaves of bread left, and I was hoping for pastry. To my surprise, two stands offered goat cheeses, yogurt, and some skin care. Prices were ridiculously high, even for tiny bit amount of cheese. There was truck with coffee, which I tried before and was delicious. I will continue going to the Southern Pines’ park downtown every Saturday, for when they have their own Farmers Market.    Read moreWhat a wonderful local market! We are new to the area and wanted to be sure and check out the area Farmers Market. It did not disappoint and I love that it is truly local, all products within 50 miles. We took home, beautiful flowers, mushroom jerky (oh my!), veggies, hummus, tzatziki, fresh pita chips and delicious goat cheese. We were glad to hear this market is open year round.
