Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Southern Pines

I have to start by saying, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. The store itself is very inviting, lots of natural light and a cozy vibe. Below is my order, which consisted of the fancy Nancy sandwich with side of mac and cheese on a croissant. I haven’t been to chicken salad chick before so I was unsure between two of the sandwiches. Diamond was the team member who helped me and she was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Diamond explained a few options that would let me get the best of both worlds but ultimately I decided on just one. I have to say I’m glad I did, now I have something to look forward to trying on my next visit. The mac & cheese perfectly done AND stayed hot while I ate my sandwich first. Everything tasted fresh, along with the perfectly cut tomatoes. During my visit I noticed a gentlemen’s walking around speaking with customers and not just asking about their experience but taking the time to ask their name, how they were and what they thought of their experience. I was lucky enough to have him stop by my table, he introduced himself as frost the general manager. I had to compliment him on how great the service and food were. I truly cannot wait to come back and enjoy a new sandwich with a good book while I soak up the ambiance of the cozy booth and warm environment.

We were shopping in the area and my wife suggested we go to this eatery from reviews of people who have been there before. This place did not disappoint. As a guy I figured chicken salad is chicken salad but they put a very nice twist to it. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the cashier and she was Very Polite and happy to be there. Being first timers there, she explained the menu to us in a very friendly professional manner. Being a chain restaurant still came across as very mom and pop establishment. The restaurant was clean and well organized. The gentleman that was walking around making sure everything was clean and neat and tidy for the next guest so that my wife couldn't finish her meal and offered to get her I to go tray. He as well was very professional and friendly. As far as cost to eat there for two people, $25 was well worth it. The quality and the quantity was just perfect. This was me and my husbands first time trying chicken salad chick,When we walked in we were welcome by 2 ladies both seemed older they were very nice and helped us through the menu.The only issue I seem to have was there was a white women facing me through the exposed barrier looking into the kitchen that I would think is making our food,Me and my husband both asked a sample of the new flavor and the lady behind the counter looked back at the cashiers and made a comment,We didn’t say nothing because the employees informed us we are allowed to asked for as many samples we want.We got our food and it was just falling apart.The chicken salad was good but presentation was terrible.We got into biting the Mac and cheese and it had a long dirty blonde hair that came out.The employees are not required to ware a hair net from what I seen anyway, it was just an all around bad experience with the food and was definitely...
