Target — Local services in Southern Pines

Absolutely disgusted with the way my wife and I were treated at this store by both managers and their “security” guy. We had bought some things and before purchasing the items we asked how long do we have to return the items they told us 90 days. The items didn’t work out and brought them back 20 days later after dealing with some personal emergency issues. The tags were still on all items and I had the receipt! They proceeded to tell me I couldn’t get a refund but would give me an in-store credit for the amount they were currently at. So one item was 50 dollars I paid they wanted to give me back 35 dollars WITH THE RECEIPT! We called the police to see what needed to be done because this isn’t right! As we walked out to talk to the police they were all laughing. The cops then proceeded to tell us there isn’t anything they could do that it’s a corporate issue but then had the “security” guy and manager come out and tell us we are banned for a year because we question fraud… the police said it’s privately owned. Beware of fraud, dealing with this civility. The worst part is they laughed as we turned our backs to leave, and it was our 9 year old son to tell us. It was essentially "politely" inferred today that was stealing during my trip today. I was interrupted at checkout by a member of the loss prevention team to ask about my hoodie, which is from a show he didn't even have any knowledge about, just so he could get a look at my cart. After checking out my cart and leaving it with my wife and daughter at starbucks so I could use the restroom, I was followed into the restroom by a different member of loss prevention, who pretended to check the sinks and soap dispenser until I finished. After returning to my family, they then "needed to check my reciept" even though I was nowhere near the exit. After finding nothing wrong, they then told me to have a good day, but it was CLEARLY evident what they were up to and accusing me of.

This is the nicest and best grocery store in southern pines. I have been waiting my whole life to finally not have to drive to Fayetteville for target! It’s super clean. Bathrooms are so nice wish they had paper towels but the dryer is fine. They have an Ulta section for their makeup. Grocery section is huge. They are a little thin on certain things but it’s to be expected especially since everybody in town is checking it out. Fast lines and great customer service. I can’t wait to come back today!! This is mine and my wife’s favorite store!! You could spend hours in here and barely scratch the surface of what all they have to offer. The deals on the circle app is a great plus too.
