First of all, I am. It's 60 something Grandma at 4 and last Saturday I went to displace with my granddaughters. I come to this place maybe twice a week ,,have no business been there but the place is good to the point that I take a big large container and I feel it up to the top. Bring home so like that I will have some frozen yogurt at the house during the week.Well, Saturday I went with my granddaughters and I decide that I'm going to keep track of my points. It seems that I never take advantage of my points. Few weeks ago they tell me. I have 70 something ,and this particular time was my 3 granddaughters and myself, so you know, the bill is a little high. And it said that I have 18 points as the young lady who helped me the time before and tell me the 70 something and I was like Can I have the phone number of the owner or someone that I can ask? She did not like it, and when she gave me the phone number, she throw the pinTo the counter, not only that, she snatched my credit card out of my hands. Needless to say, I'm with 3 little girls. I do not wanna no drama in front of them,,So when I was but to leave, Im at the door and she Start it to say something to the next clients,,I decided to Tell her that she was being rude, and if she don't fix her attitude, she could lose her job,, well, she informed me that she was the daughter and what the world they gonna do to her. Yes I did call the phone number she gave me. Yes, I spoke with the owner. But that don't give a right to her to treat a person like that. I'm only doing this because I just read the same excuse to another situation a few months ago. Read moreUse to love this place, and I have gotten several free yogurts due to filling up several purple penguins rewards cards. My son went in before me to sample the new mixes, and the lady at the counter asked him was he going to buy something and would not give him a sample cup. Two white people came in after him, and she gave them sample cups without any question. I will never go back there and told the lady she can keep her rewards card. To judge people like that is not right.
RE: Response to the Owners. That is not true. I was told, by the lady in your store, that there was an incident that occurred in the store earlier. The earlier event had nothing to do with my son, and It did not explain why she questioned only him. I told her that and it felt like she was judging him. I spoke to the cashier at a nearby store and was informed the lady in purple penguin, had an incident two hours earlier, where she called the cops on three boys. Could it be that you are getting them mixed up with my son? Maybe you feel they look alike, but it was not him. Why is this "story" of my son coming in your store three prior times being posted now and nothing was said when I questioned you at the store? Read moreI am writing this review because I was not happy about my experiences I had in the first week of October in this establishment. I always stop by purple penguin when I am coming through town. It is always a pleasure experience until October 4,2018 around 7:45 ish . When I enter the establishment I see the two young girls that are currently on the clock talking to another young girl that came to visit them. I continue going on to pick out the yogurt and toppings I wanted. When I approached the counter only one of the young girls had a smile and was ready to help . The other young girl which I got her name (Savannah) continue talking to the young girl that came to visit. We all was standing at the counter which was very uncomfortable to have their conversation going on at the time I was trying to check out . At the end of my transaction I asked about receiving a stamp to the young girl that was helping me. And Savannah frowned up her face because she just wanted me to go away so they all Could finish talking. After frowning up her face she preceded to say if you have a stamp card I’ll give you one.
