Mattress Depot — Local services in Spanish Fort

My husband and I purchased a queen mattress and two VERY expensive pillows from Mattress Depot about three weeks ago. Upon walking in the store we immediately noticed very strong air freshener smells, but didn't think anything about it. We left the store with the two pillows, put them in the car, and continued shopping. We returned to the car about 20 minutes later to find that it wreaked of a very strong smell that smelled like mildew and manure combined! We thought it was the packaging the pillows were in so we threw the packaging away. The pillows still smelled two days later so we tried to get the store to exchange them. They refused saying the smell would go away in a few days. It has been three weeks and they still smell so bad that you can't be in the same room with them! We now know why the store keeps so many plug-in refresheners. Do NOT buy any pillows from this store! Mattress Depot obviously does not stand by the quality (or lack thereof) of their...

We (Wife and I) were not informed in a meaningful manner of the need of a Mattress Pad to avoid any stain issues. The company would not replace a defective mattress that had a sag issue and busted side because of OSHA regulations regarding stains on the mattress and it's return to the warehouse.

So where do the old mattresses that have stains go that your people replace freely upon purchase?

I fail to see how a warranty can be voided when a major mechanical failure of a mattress is present but also a stain.
