1 star is too many. Last week I bought a washer and dryer online, and paid for it to be delivered and installed today. I received a text confirming my delivery & installation for October 15th 7 AM-1 PM. No one showed. I tried contacting Best Buy and Geek Squad for FIVE HOURS with no answers, or calls resulting in them hanging up on me (and no call back!) I would have understood if for some reason they could not deliver my order, but I was never contacted regarding the issue. I'm absolutely shocked at how hard it was to get any kind of customer service after spending over $2,000 on appliances, delivery, and installation. After finally speaking to a Geek Squad customer service rep from Corporate, she told me that she didn't know why it wasn't delivered because there were no notes in the system regarding any issues. She then let me know that I would have to reschedule my delivery for the end of NEXT WEEK . I'VE ALREADY SOLD MY OLD WASHER AND DRYER because I THOUGHT I was getting my delivery today. I don't have a vehicle big enough to pick them up, and now I'm left with no way to wash clothes. I still haven't been contacted by Best Buy/Geek Squad in Spanish Fort. I was told that this was the location my appliances were at. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for any business. Especially one where you spend thousands of dollars. ZERO STARS FROM ME!

Went to this location to buy Pokemon cards for my kids and myself. when I asked an employee where we could find them I was met with blank staring and when I finally insisted someone get up and help me find what I was looking for an employee wandered over to a cabinet and opened it saying “see we don’t have any” but at the top was a small tin with two packs that I asked for and received for my kids. And then on the ground of the cabinet was a pack of cards. I said I would buy that one too! Just to be told it wasn’t for sale? Well then I had to ask for someone who could sell it to me. Another blank staring employee “manager” came and said they couldn’t sell me it because the bar code was ringing up to something else. So I asked if it was going to sit on the shelf indefinitely then? All of the sudden the “manager” pulled a big tote out for under the cabinet and found hundreds of packs! Old and new! The “manager” threw one at me and put the tote back. I asked if I could buy any more out of there? The “manager” said no… but I could arrange a pickup. Fun fact - this location doesn’t let you arrange a pickup for Pokemon cards. So I can only speculate that the employees are hiding products from customers to buy for themselves at a discount to sell on marketplace and other platforms at a scalper rate. Best Buy and its employees never ceases to amaze!

I am very impressed with Best Buys appliance selections and the easy efficiency of the Best Buy employees. It was a pleasure doing business with this company

Best Buy has become the gold standard for modern corporate deception. Behind the blue shirts and shiny ads lies a company that weaponizes fine print, mislabels its own products, denies valid warranties, and treats its customers like disposable income streams.

Let me make this painfully clear for every person reading this:

I bought a TCL TV from Best Buy during the holidays—an open box unit labeled “missing remote and TV feet.” But when I opened the box, everything was there. The TV was fully intact, fully functional, and absolutely under manufacturer warranty.

But when I needed help? • Best Buy refused to lift a finger. • TCL blamed Best Buy. • And I was left in a dead zone of denial, deflection, and pure corporate apathy.

This wasn’t some rare clerical error. This was a deliberate system designed to sell incomplete or misrepresented products, slap on disclaimers, and dodge every obligation once the sale is final. Best Buy has become a company that intentionally avoids accountability, even when federal warranty laws are clearly on the consumer’s side.

📜 FACT: Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, open box items must still be covered by warranty unless the warranty is explicitly voided in writing at the time of sale. ❌ That never happened. 💬 Best Buy doesn’t care.

They will smile while they sell you a broken promise. They will vanish the moment you ask them to honor it. They will pass you in circles until you give up.

But I won’t.

This is no longer just about a TV. This is about a corporation that has abandoned its duty to customers, hides behind legal fog, and counts on people not knowing their rights.

DO NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY. Buy from a company that actually stands behind what they sell. Buy from a company that values the human being holding the receipt—not just the credit card number.

I am now: • Filing with the Federal Trade Commission • Filing a BBB complaint • Notifying my State Attorney General • Posting this on every platform I can find • And encouraging everyone I know to take their business elsewhere

Because when companies act like this, the only thing they understand is lost revenue.

Unacceptable experience. My elderly mother pays for the Geek Squad and needed help yesterday. She called, was transferred, transferred again... She finally spoke with someone who called himself Gus who had her name, phone number, address, etc. He worked with her for more than an hour, doing things remotely. Afterward, her laptop worked much better. She received a call later: "I understand you were on a call with the Geek Squad today, is everything working OK now?" She said yes. Later, she got another call from "Gus" again. He said he needed to check something. He took over her computer remotely and then tried to sell her a protection plan. She trusted him because trusted Best Buy and the Geek Squad. When she refused to pay for an additional protection plan, he hung up. Now, her computer doesn't work to pay a bill online. She thinks they've even hacked her cell phone. We can't call Best Buy or the Geek Squad directly. You can't select "0" as an option, or you'll be disconnected. This isn't an issue with an order. No matter what you select, you'll wait at least 10 minutes to speak with someone and then it's not the right department, or they'll need to transfer you. And then you're disconnected.. After selecting "Computer" waiting in a "scheduling" for 10 minutes, we got someone one the phone who said we needed to call the bank! She promised to transfer to the Geek Squad to get someone to help her with her computer again, and instead of being transferred, we were hung up on. With no way to call back. Entirely unacceptable. Not only do we have a technical problem, but we have a security problem. Best Buy is entirely responsible and we can't communicate with them. I am trying to get her to go to the store directly and she refuses. She shouldn't have to go to the store. She pays for that service. I may have to take a day off work to go in an deal with this in person at the store because it's horrible know Best Buy is employing people we are taking advantage of the elderly and won't provide a way to...

!WARNING! I would advise all customers to be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS when purchasing Westinghouse TV's from this location! Stick with something trustworthy like Samsung like I was originally planning on doing before my purchase. But I was shown a deal/Christmas type sale on the Westinghouse size tv I was looking for and decided to purchase it, BIG MISTAKE on my part, I have had the Westinghouse Roku TV for just a little over a year and a few days ago I smelled a slight burning type of a smell and looked up and saw the bottom right corner of the TV was all white (roughly 3 inch by 8 inch) and the rest of the screen was normal , so I jumped up to investigate it and found that the plastic on that part of the TV was melting ! And the screen was so hot you couldn't touch it! , So I unplugged the TV and let everything cool down, and when I plugged it back in after it was cooled down the entire screen was white and black , so I unplugged it again and called best buy. The first time I called I was telling the person this story and when I said the TV was melting they hung up on me/ disconnected the call, so I call again and i reach a different person, I tell the same story and when I tell them the part where my tv is melting they also hang up on me/ disconnected the call, so I call again and reach another person who heard my whole story and in his infinite wisdom told me to just go buy another tv because best buy isn't going to do anything about it. , Also if you were wondering Westinghouse TV is supposed to last 7-10 years...not...
