I found Orlando’s shop while searching for someone to repair my engagement and wedding rings, which had recently lost some side stones. During the initial inspection, Orlando asked if the ring had been worked on before. I had taken it to Helzberg Diamonds at the WestGate Mall about a year prior to upgrade the center stone. What I thought were just minor imperfections turned out to be burned side stones and sloppy work where the setting had been poorly soldered back onto the band.

Even before using his little eye tool, he could tell something wasn’t right. He took the time to let me look through the loupe myself and explained everything in detail like pointing out what good craftsmanship should look like and what had gone wrong. I genuinely appreciate how educational and transparent he was throughout the process.

He was honest about my options. Like, sure, he could easily replace the small missing stones, but warned they’d likely keep falling out due to how thin and compromised the band was. Instead, he recommended rebuilding and thickening the rings.

The final result is stunning. He replaced the side stones with real diamonds, thickened the bands, and elevated the setting to make it sturdier all for an incredibly fair price. Yes, you pay for what you get for, but Orlando is a one-man operation. There’s no middleman and that’s why he can do this incredible work for such a reasonable cost. Yes, it takes time being the only one working, but his attention to detail and craftsmanship are well worth the wait. My ring has never looked better.

I had a specific idea in mind and he talked with me to make sure my idea came to reality as seamless as possible with my engagement ring which was my fiancés great great grandmothers diamond ring . I lost the stone in my engagement ring back in November and waited until after the holidays to get it repaired. I finally made an appointment on June. I presented my ring to have the stone replaced. I also showed Mr. Orlando my band which had four stones that I thought only needed the outer posts readjusted. He recommended doing all of the posts and also recommended that I have the two rings soldered together because they were showing 38 years of wear by being loose and rubbing each other through daily movement. I received my rings on July 3rd. My eyes welled up, because he did such a fantastic job on my stone replacement and much needed attention and clean up to the set.
