5 star for the customer service staff in store, however I am ONLY rating the third party delivery company that Spokane Furniture chooses to employ. If there was a way to rate without clicking any stars I would have done it! Spokane Furniture uses a third party delivery company to deliver their products (I don't know the name of the company) but figure if your business uses an outside agency for delivery then you should take full responsibility for who you send out as they represent the face of your company. From the beginning scheduling for delivery was a bit of an annoyance as the delivery company guy "Bryan of Bryan's Delivery" was rude and unprofessional. I had to call him a couple times to schedule and he never returned a call to the messages I left, when I finally got him on the phone we had to work around his schedule and what "worked best for him", then when I asked him to let me know the day prior to delivery the timeframe they would be showing up he never called, so we had to just wait around for his phone call on the supposed day of delivery. The guys that showed up to deliver were rough around the edges type guys and appeared very unprofessional. We do not wear shoes in our home for cultural reasons so when my husband asked nicely, "do you guys mind taking off your shoes once you have everything inside as we don't wear shoes in our home, please?" the delivery guy rudely responded with, "well are you going to pay for our medical bills if we drop something on our feet?" My husband replied with, "as a general rule we do not wear shoes in our home so when most delivery companies or service companies come to our home they always have booties on hand, I realize you don't have them as you didn't bother putting them on when you walked in but I figure we can make an exception while you bring the boxes inside and once you have everything inside and are ready to assemble please remove your shoes." The delivery guy muttered and moaned and finally agreed. First off, any type of business that requires workers to go into the consumers home should provide booties for their employees if their shoes cannot be removed. Second, if your business sends delivery men out they should be educated on the art of professionalism. The request we made was simple and not unheard of. My suggestion would be to either go with a reputable and respectable delivery company or think about delivery in-house. After the sale was made the process from scheduling the delivery to the delivery crew was frustrating and ridiculous. As consumers we have a lot of choices when it comes to purchasing furniture so that's something Spokane Furniture needs to take into consideration when they choose the delivery company that they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy girlfriend and I have been searching for replacement furniture for several months. As both of us are extremely picky, we opted to not purchase online and decided to wait until we found the perfect set. At "Spokane Furniture" we were referred by some of our close friends and not only did we manage to find our new living room set -- but they even had a backup option in case financing didn't work out (A more affordable sofa with chaise). The sales associate, Kristi, was extremely personable, professional, and transparent throughout the whole process. Her commitment to being honest and maintaining integrity is something that should be recognized and rewarded. She even managed to get a stain out on the chair prior to delivery.
"Spokane Furniture" helped us through the entire process and managed to deliver 2 days after signing the financing agreement. Delivery fees were waived on that particular set as it was a local delivery/special they had going on.
The delivery men, Nate and Mike were also extremely professional and managed to deliver the set into our 2nd story apartment without any issues. Prior to leaving, my girlfriend asked if they could adjust it a little and they did so without any grief. Excellent customer service from the entire team -- we will definitely be back in the near future for any other furniture purchases...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreScam Alert - Manager at the N. Division location is deceitful and dishonest.
We came in asking for a memory foam sofa sleeper. Manager had us try the memory foam sleeper they had on the floor so we could feel what the mattress would be like. He let us know that our memory foam mattress will āpuff up moreā after itās out of the plastic wrapping.
He had us sit on a sectional by the same manufacturer so we would have an idea of what the couch would feel like reminding us it would be different because that one had springs inside and ours would not.
Our family was so excited to have the sofa sleeper arrive. Imagine our shock when we open the sofa and it was a spring mattress!
This was not what we were shown and not what we ordered. We have been offered a refund only if we can return the couch within 5 days. We have to pay to return the couch - so we have now paid nearly $200 for a couch we did not order.
Purposefully deceitful and dishonest...
