Wow, absolutely phenomenal experience all the way around! Over and above exceptional customer service! Starting with Tim P. in sales who was friendly and helpful, but didn't pressure us at all. He was there to answer any questions we had, let us choose what we wanted without trying to guide us towards something more expensive like other places sometimes do, and just listened to us every step of the way. Thanks, Tim, for all your help!
Next up is the warehouse/delivery crew! Oh my goodness, so many wonderful things to say about them! My invoice said I would be called in two to three business days to schedule delivery. I was thinking it would be closer to the three days, given how busy a lot of places are. Since we purchased on a Saturday afternoon, I was thinking we would probably get called the following Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised when Tennessee called us the following Monday afternoon to get us on the schedule for that coming Wednesday. This was the first awesome thing the delivery/warehouse crew did, but it doesn't end there!
Tennessee and I had originally agreed that my furniture would be delivered between 11 and 2 that Wednesday, but then it turned out I wouldn't be available at that time, and my backup person wasn't available at that time either. So on Tuesday, I called the warehouse within half an hour after they opened, and left a message asking them to call me back as soon as they could so that they could reschedule. Tennessee called me back within a couple hours, and we discussed availability for both of us. When it looked like I might have to wait a week or two to get the furniture, he said, "I don't want you to have to wait that long to get it, I'll leave you on the schedule for tomorrow [Wednesday], and we'll get you after five. It will be tough on our end, but we'll make it work." I was very grateful he was willing to work with my schedule, and that he was so polite and patient about it.
Wednesday rolled around and I got a confirmation call from Brandon Wood shortly after opening, stating that they would indeed be at my house right at 5:00 PM that day. Later that evening, around 4:00 PM, he called me again to let me know that they had to be back at the shop at 5 because a truck was coming, but that they would still deliver my furniture that day, it would just be later that night. True to his word, Brandon called me just after 6:00 PM and told me that they [he and one other person] were on their way. It didn't take long for them to get here, and they brought my furniture right in and set it up where I wanted it. They were friendly, helpful, and all smiles. Throughout the whole thing, Brandon was extremely apologetic, but I told him it was totally fine. I understood.
Tim P, Tennessee, Brandon Wood, and the rest of their crew went above and beyond to give my husband and I an excellent experience, and let me just say, they definitely exceeded our expectations. I really appreciated the fact that they returned phone calls in a timely manner, stayed in communication with us the whole time, and were genuinely concerned about meeting our needs to the best of their ability. I am beyond impressed! We will definitely be back for our future...
Read moreUpdate... I retract what I said about this place. Even though service was great when we spent our hard earned money there. Their product broke less than a week after delivery nothing crazy going on, just took a nap on it. The warranty said they wouldn’t honor as it was too close to purchase date and it must be a manufacturer defect. So the store had to deal with it. Called the store , filled out everything showed pictures and THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING YET! It’s been over a month and because of that the couch broke further and we have no where to sit now and it’s still not fixed or any indication of when. The sales people when we call seem irritated and don’t want to bother, and they always say they will call us when ready to fix it and then we never hear from them again. The last time they said still waiting on a part, but would take from their warehouse, that was 4 days ago and still haven’t heard a thing....Don’t shop here or buy their warranty, it’s a rip off.....
We went into the place today. Friday afternoon, just planning on browsing and are currently sitting on our new couch by 3:30pm We saw an add on Facebook by Kat who shared some amazing deals and was quick to answer questions. Super friendly and over I like the Attitude. This was our first impression and decided to check it out. We walked in the door and was immediately greeted by Tim who then showed us around the floor, sitting with us and showing multiple pieces. He wasn’t pushy and just fun to talk to, which was great as my husband and I hate pushy sales people. He mentioned different options they had if we wanted to go outside our budget, but was perfectly fine when we declined. He even showed us mattresses just cause we mentioned needing one in the future. He gave us a fantastic deal which saved us some money and communicated everything we needed to know about our protection plan. Then between Mike R and Brandon and Tim and Kat they collaborated a plan to get us our couch today within the hour of us walking out the store. Read moreA little backstory. . .my husband and I sold our home and 80% of our furniture in preparation for a one-year-long trip across America in search of a future retirement location. Spokane was our first stop and we had planned on staying the summer before moving on to Idaho. While in Spokane I got a diagnosis that suddenly required us to stay in Spokane for at least a year. Beyond dealing with the shock of the pending treatment, we had to quickly find a long-term rental and we needed to furnish that rental. Our prayers were answered by finding an ideal house to rent and as we began our search for quality, but affordable furniture, I happened upon the 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks website. We were impressed with their selection and decided to make the store on Division Street in Spokane our first stop on our day of shopping. We were not looking forward to the day. . .spending money that we hadn't planned on, for items that reminded us that our dream had been put hold. Our spirits lifted almost right away as we entered the store. It is thoughtfully laid out and the selection is impressive. Lindsey, a Sales Associate, greeted us and after hearing our story went to work helping us find a mattress, bedframe, dining table, couch, and side chairs. She was very knowledgeable about the merchandise and let us take our time touring the store, occasionally checking in to see if we had any questions. We love all the selections we made and when she presented us with the total amount due, it was $1,500 less than we anticipated. But more importantly, the items selected would be available before treatment began. She worked her magic both on price and timing - she is a blessing.
