Field's Fabrics — Local services in Spring Lake Township

Over the years I have been to fields too many times to count. I am an avid sewer and usually have a good idea of what I am looking for. Sadly the people who work here are not friendly and never have been. Not one of the 4 people working today spoke to us when we came in until we were shuffling through bolts after being present for 10 minutes. In addition when we went to check out the person at the register immediately scanned our item without speaking to us and immediately turned her back to us to lean against the counter and return to her conversation with the other workers. The rating is 3 stars only because rhe selection is good and it is the only show in town. I dont expect that this will change but truly customer service is...

Worker told us (without the use of the word hell) that we were going there if we sold anything made from "licensed" fabric. All I did was simply ask if headbands could be made from fleece. Even my husband was bothered by what she said, and the way she said it. I'll never shop there again, and have definitely spread the word to my "crafting" friends and Facebook fabric/sewing sites, that we're all doomed. She's not the fabric police...
