HOW do they have decent reviews?! My computer NEEDS CPR after visiting these guys. I dropped off a tablet with a broken screen after Thanksgiving. We had to come take it from them in January because it still wasn't done. If we hadn't gone to get it, they would still have it now and there would be NO communication. They never called or texted us towards the end - only responded to my husband after he texted them (I texted them one time and got nothing back). My husband picked it up, brought it home, and it sat in it's case for two months on my table. I opened it today to see what state it was in and the laptop (which was brand new and clean other than the screen damage) had food or some kind of oily residue all over the back, scuff marks everywhere, and a bent frame (don't ask how my husband missed this, it confuses me too). The screen was dangling from the unit. They may as well have taken a !@#$ in it, closed it up and thrown it off a cliff. They're lucky I didn't come in to pick it up. Don't even bother with them. The only thing they did right was not having the audacity to charge me a penny for...
Read moreI dropped my laptop off at CPR for a screen repair on or about October 30 and was given a qoute of $395.00. So, I later opted to transfer my files to a new laptop instead of completing the repair. I was initially told it would take a couple of days, but after several days without updates, I had to contact CPR for a status update. They informed me there were corrupt files, which caused delays.
The back-and-forth communication stretched over two weeks until I decided to pick up my laptop. Although very few files were transferred, I was initially charged $157 for the service. After some discussion, Heather contacted the owner, who provided instructions on accessing the files and reduced the cost to $57.
While Heather was kind and communicated often, the overall experience was frustrating. The service was not completed properly or in a timely manner, and I feel the cost should have been waived considering the outcome. This was a major disappointment despite giving them multiple chances to make...
Read moreI recently started to experience multiple pop ups for updates and computer slowness from malware/adware on my computer. I have had Norton 360 on my computer since the day I purchased my computer and since that time I have had two separate occurrences that allowed malware/adware onto my computer. Even my deep scans did not repair my settings.
Computer CPR (Josh) came to the rescue! I have known Josh personally for over a decade and would recommend his services to anyone. I am very leery of using computer services, but can vouch for Josh as a trust worthy computer technician. He is courteous, fast and professional. He also provided a few additional recommendations for my computer to help with the overall performance. I am very pleased with the outcome and will use him for all of my future computer...
