Aloha Poke & Sushi — Restaurant in Spring Lake

This new sushi place is not it at all! The food all tastes so flavorless and is so expensive for like 1/2 size portions. They sell a small Boba tea for $7 and it don't have the Boba in it that's an extra $1 to put the Boba in the Boba. So I got pineapple juice for $7. Also they have a cool setup of arcade games. Do not play them. First off they take tokens that are $1 each token and each game is 2 tokens. So $2 per play. When you play the claw machines everytime it gets to the top the claw completely opens then closes back dropping everything we picked up 5 diff times. I notified the manager and he said that's the point they aren't supposed to let you win and that if you play like 7 times on same machine then you might win. So $14 to might win a couple dollar stuffed animal. The sushi rolls are so small they could be eaten in 2 bites for the entire roll. You also have to pay for any sauce on the side other than soy. Ive been here twice now because i wanted to give this place a real chance and both times we were dissapointed. Probably why every time I pass this place it's empty despite the big grand opening sign out front that's left in the way to trip over. I hope for their sake they do better or else they won't...

There's only one menu kiosk for the whole restaurant. Waited patiently while others were order. Went up bought 2 tokens for a dollar each. To play the machine while I waited for others to order, play the same machine twice. Bull times picked up the stuffed animal, and the claw opened and dropped the animal. Once it got back up to the top total scam machine would not recommend playing any of them now. If I had just not picked up the animal cool, but literally the claw maching goes up and it opens the clock. Before taking it back to the drop zone. Brought it up to the staff. They had nothing to say so instead of ordering food. I just walked out. Will not be back if you can't fix a simple problem of your machine isn't working properly or it's a scam.That's an issue for me a quality issue. Update: the whole issue is your staffs lack of response which you seem to completely bypass. We tried it out and we're really disappointed. We spend about $30 on 3 sushi rolls and Takoyaki. I ordered the spicy salmon, the spicy shrimp, and the spicy yellow tail had what I got instead was a tray of just spicy shrimp. The takoyaki was gummy and mushy. We ordered pretty late so by the time I realized what we had gotten, they were closed. I tried a couple of the shrimp sushi but it was not good, even my teenager declared it inedible.

We love trying new places around here but this was definitely a miss and not a hit, we'll probably come back sometime and try their shaved ice, but I don't think we'll be ordering any regular meal food based off of this experience.

The space is cute, they have games you can play and lots of really cool Japanese and anime items so I could totally get this being a fun place to go get a shave of ice. I just wish the food had not been incredibly...
