1/15/17. I called customer care to upgrade my equipment. I was told by customer care that I can only sign a two year agreement online OR in person at a sprint corporate store. When I drove 45 minutes to this sprint corporate store, a young female sales rep, whom was NOT wearing a name tag per sprint corporate policy, attempted to help me. She immediately informed me that I was told wrong information and I could NOT sign a two year agreement at the store. Contradictory to what I was told by customer service, she said I had to sign a two year agreement by calling customer service OR by conducting my business with Best Buy, Target's, Walmart, etc. Wait....what? Take my business to Best Buy or Target? I want to do business with Sprint -- not an authorized retailer. On a second issue, I also wanted to pay off early a lease agreement. On the sprint website, it clearly indicated that the full balance to pay off my device with the purchase option was $351. The sales rep said I owed $392.xx because I supposedly had to pay taxes on the device. It seem rather shady to me because when I signed the lease agreement I was told that I didn't have to pay taxes on a lease agreement. When I started questioning her judgement and the incorrect information she was telling me, she became upset and very unprofessional. She refused to help me and gave me my money back!! She did this to avoid and dodge a bad survey. It was certainly not the customer service satisfaction I would come to expect of Sprint. I don't believe she should be working in Sprint Customer Service. When I returned home after having the worse sprint experience in my 15 years of doing business with them, I called customer care only to find out that I over paid by $40. $351 was the correct amount of what I had to pay. I also found out that I could've signed a two year agreement at this store despite what I was told by the store representative. A certified letter was mailed to the store manager as well as the corporate headquarters of Sprint, Inc. Please be careful when conducting business at this store location. Make sure you get names, receipts or take someone with you prior to...
Read moreThe main reason I am writing this review is to remind people to lock down all apps that auto login to services like email before handing the phone over to someone to repair. Luckily, we don't have anything super personal that we share through email so we don't believe anything foul will come of it, however it still is a reminder that there are hazards associated with allowing technicians unintended access to applications that autosave passwords. Hopefully, this may help someone reading this to protect their private information. The events are transcribed below.
Went in for a repair. Service was quick and the people who helped us were kind. Before we gave the phone in for a screen repair, we had closed all apps and had moved the Yahoo and Gmail apps off the home screen so they wouldn't accidentally open them. When the phone was returned, the screen was fixed, however the yahoo and gmail apps were open. We called the store and they assured us that they do not open any apps...
Read moreToday me and friend went to switch numbers from one phone to another from a different provider which became a nightmare. Called customer service and wasted over an hour on the phone without resolution, decided going to the store to speak with someone who comprehends also we could understand to transfer number. Upon entering the store we spoke with Christopher. Advised what was needed. He seemed as if he did not want to be there or want to do any work. Rude and poor customer service. Also very condescending which he was called out on after continuing it. Never had such awful service from any phone store anywhere. I think it was time for his break also when we entered. Due to while in the middle of speaking with us spoke with his manager about food, who replied write the lingo on how to order it. Unprofessional. Would never go into this T-Mobile again. There are plenty jobs available and recommend he (Christopher) find one with very little customer...
