This is from someone who orders takeout:
This is too expensive for the food to taste just okay. I order from here mainly to occasionally get the cheesecake, banana pudding and the donut holes. All of them taste pretty good, but my problem lies within the main savory items. Posted up, you hear tasty things, like bbq pulled pork or this appetizer dish with fried pickles and loaded nachos, and things that sound tasty like korean style pork belly poppers. To be honest, after eating all these items a few times, im fustrated. The belly poppers taste good, but for the skimp amount that you get, this is a once in a blue moon buy for me. They fall apart pretty well, they are barely warm when they arrive and you get 4 or 5 small pieces. That item alone, no sides, no garnish, only four or five small pieces, will already run you about 20 dollars! Thats lunacy. Next lets talk about the BBQ crowd pleaser. Right off the bat, the whole serving was ruined for me. For some reason, i don't know if its because you need to add salt to the pickles or what have you, there was just too much salt. I couldn't really enjoy what you guys made because you decided more salt then it needed. And i wish i ment it was just a tad bit salty, but that was not the case. It tasted like you sprinkled an abundant amount over the entire dish, that really sucks cause i wanted to enjoy it. For that experience, they are charging about 28 dollars. Lastly i want to talk about a few things at once, but lets finish up with talking about the bbq pulled pork sandwich. Now, i want yalls to understand that i order out, so not having the sandwich prepped and ready to eat is understandable. Maybe you dont want our bread to get soggy, or maybe you don't want us to recieve the sandwich in a messy state. All understandable. What i don't understand is why, for 18 dollars, am i paying for bland pull pork and some regular ol bbq sauce? Its not that it taste bad, its just not worth it. I believe i bought this item twice, the second time was for benefit of the doubt, and then never again. Its too much to ask so much out of customers. Which brings me to the last point. Expensive ingredients and processes does not always equal tasty food. I'll just barely justify the desserts, BARELY. The mixed berry cheesecake and pudding really do taste great, honestly, which is why this is kinda frustrating but I'd still buy it. It is tasty. As far as the savory items, I see what yalls are getting at, but there needs to be a bit more compromise with the prices.
Really hope yalls hear me out, cause i want to like eating here. More often than not, i find myself sad and disappointed at what i ate and the amount i spent for what i...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with the service that was provided. The bartenders that I encountered were completely rude. I asked for a drinks specials menu the one bartender I believe her name was Natalie said this is the weekend honey very sarcastic so I left it alone and asked for a food menu. Me and my husband ordered our food right after she put our order in she printed up our receipt and slammed it in a glass in front of us. So I thought that was a bit strange. Why is my receipt here before my food? Once our food came out I notice a lady wearing a gray shirt which of course was different from everyone else I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes. I hesitated at first to complain so I decided to eat my food and see how the rest of this evening goes. Me and my husband is eating and one of the other bartenders comes by asked if we needed anything and I told her that we were fine. I then decided to ask her about the receipt and why did he come out before the food. I said is this something new because I’ve never seen this at a restaurant where something like this has ever been done. The girl ) with very long hair I did get her name) said oh yes we been doing that. Management has us doing it now. But for some reason I knew it was a lie. Of course we finish our food and drinks we sat there and watched that bartender ask everyone around the bar if they needed another drink or anything. She did not one time ask us if we were ok or needed anything else. So I seen the manager again in the kitchen and asked if she could come to us. I spoke with her and let her know what all had happened and her name I believe was Desiree said she was sorry and tried to fix the issue at that time but while I am talking to her I see the 2 girls standing nearby whispering to each other. lol which now I thought was funny. Long story short if you would like to be treated fairly and with respect DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT. I definitely will not be back. If these are the type of people that this restaurant hires where I spend my money at I would never return here again. When you go out to eat with your mate you want decent service… nothing like I...
Read moreTiffany is definitely THAT GWORL.
Tiffany didn’t simply take my order. She understood it. With a grace that could only be compared to a queen leading her people to victory, she approached my table with a radiant smile that could melt glaciers. Each word she spoke was like music—a symphony of kindness and expertise. I’m convinced that if her service were written in history books, future generations would study her unparalleled dedication.
And the wings! They arrived hot, perfectly crispy, dripping with a sauce that could only be described as divine. As she placed the platter before me, I could see the joy in her eyes, the pride in her service. This wasn’t just a job to Tiffany… This was her calling, her destiny. I swear, she was meant to deliver these wings with an elegance that would make royalty jealous.
Every glance, every refill, every perfectly timed check-in was executed with the kind of precision that would leave military generals in awe. If there were a Mount Rushmore of Waitresses, Tiffany’s face would be carved into it, larger than life, glowing with the glory of her commitment to excellence.
Tiffany didn’t just serve me. She served humanity. I left Smokey Bones not just satisfied but spiritually enlightened. I was in the presence of greatness, and nothing could ever compare to the way she made me feel like I was the most important person in the room.
Would I return? Without question. But only if Tiffany is there, standing tall, ensuring the world continues to spin with the precision and grace she brings to each and every order. Smokey Bones, you are blessed beyond words to have Tiffany. She is not just a waitress; she is an icon.
