Horrible Experience!!! We rented a house in Las Vegas From Aida and her out of state client Nancy for 15 months. We were told the house would be ready to move in on the first. It was knot! The previous tenant was evicted and the house was dirty and had several issues. We told Aida and Nancy about all the issues, and Aida came over and took pictures of the damage. Trash was everywhere, junk was left in the garage and on the side of the house, and the garbage was full of trash even the recycle bin , so they would not take it. The toilet paper dispensers were broken, the air conditioner did not work, bathroom wall tiles fell off the first time the shower was used. The ice maker on the fridge did not work. We were told the yard was rock and very low maintenance, and the pool was usable 8 months a year. These things were very important to me because because I am unable to do physical activities, ALL LIES. I have a quadruple spine injury from a car accident with limits me from doing most physical activities. I recently (6 months prior to moving in ) I suffered a massive stroke, memory loss, and brain damage. At that time I also found out I have an aneurism in the center of my brain and if it burst it is fatal.
We completed our 12 month agreement and then agreed to stay an additional 6 months while we were waiting to purchase a home in the near future. Although she wanted us to sign 1 year lease again, we asked if we could do it in 6 month increments instead, and she agreed. Out of the blue we are told our lease is terminated and we have till the end of the month to vacate the property because we paid our rent on the 5th of the month. Now previously we had paid usually before the 1st.
We were shocked to hear this news, we feel we were very flexible with her on our move in, for it took months for her to fix the issues we walked into. When we asked her why she told me, because I paid rent on the 5th 2 times in 15 months, I was ruining her credit, I was causing problems in her marriage, and (the real reason) it was going to be hard to rent this house when the pool is to cold to swim in? We then tried to reason with her, even agreed to sign the full year lease, and do auto pay our rent any day she wanted? She again swiftly rejected our offer!
Almost a week later, we receive an email stating she was on vacation and didn't read our whole email. She says I'm sorry I didn't see the part until later the we were willing to sign a longer lease? At that point we had to scramble to find a new home, and had to put a non refundable deposit on another place. Not to mention we really did not appreciate the attitude we were given and couldn't understand why we were being treated this way to begin with. So my roommate and I started the mad scramble to leave her residence asap.
My roommate and I moved here from different states to work at our business we built here. We both have good credit and good standings with over 20 years of perfect rental/credit history. Now our business has suffered because of their selfish actions. My doctors believe it is possible as a result of the stress, heat and physical labor of having to move have caused so setbacks in my recovery and possibly cause me to have a mini or small stroke. I am now waiting to get more MRI and CT scans to check for new damage at the neurologist office. I have been experiencing more memory loss since the events that just happened.
What was the most disappointing was Aida's behavior throughout this whole thing. She saw all the damage when we moved in and acted appalled by the condition, taking pictures making a big deal about everything, telling the owner (her out of state client) on the phone, seemingly on our side. Until she found out we were not going to use her to purchase a home. She said are you guys still thinking about using me as your realtor? We said NO! Then she says Only to completely forget everything, lie and pretend none of that ever happened? Pretty convenient. It was easy to see her agenda and it was clear she only cares about money! The Karen...
Read moreI’m so lucky that my friend recommended I work with Eida. First, she spent almost a year and a half helping me find the right house to buy. Then she seamlessly switched gears to seller mode. She coordinated clean up and repairs to the house I’d been living in for over 25 years. Her advice and efforts paid off quickly when my house closed in less than 4 weeks after it went on the market. In addition to assisting me in Las Vegas, she referred me to a great agent in Utah for another real estate transaction. Throughout the entire process with all the moving parts, she was available and ready to step in to provide guidance and advocacy whenever I had questions or needed help. She is so generous with her time, her expertise, and her advice. I unreservedly recommend...
