My wife and I found this store while searching for authentic items while on vacation in Houston during Christmas. It's a hidden gem! Had a wonderful conversation with the owner while browsing the store, so much so that when I needed one more gift I drove the 35 minutes north of Houston to not just get a gift but to get the right gift. On that visit I met the wife also and again had a wonderful conversation lol. We talked about everything from Apple butter to zucchini while she helped me. They have great items in there representing Texas and I’ve bought from them for years but I was disappointed last Saturday when I went there to find them closed when the store hours on the door said they should be open. Ok I figured they’re running late. I left and came back 30 min later, still closed, and other people left too. Not a great way to keep people...
