Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Texas

It would be one star but there is a gentleman working there who is actually a decent person. The lady who took my order misheard me when I asked for 2 kids meals, only bringing me one, and then instead of turning the sandwich and drink i ordered into the combo like i asked, she took the shortcut and added more confusion by just adding "extra fries" to the order. So when I asked her about the kids meal and mentioned that one bag only had fries in it, she brought out the receipt and started listing off what I ordered, further confusing me since i didn't ask for "extra" fries. I understood what she meant when she explained what she did, and I didn't really care, but I still needed that second kids meal. She made me feel like I had to prove I had two kids to feed or something. Her tone was aggressive and I felt like I was being attacked, even though I had patiently waited a pretty long time for our order and was ready to pay for the second kids meal separately. I hadn't raised my voice or spoken to her rudely because miscommunication happens, totally understandable. So I was pretty shocked at how she treated me. The gentleman working that night was the one who brought me the food to begin with, so he witnessed how she reacted when I asked for the second kids meal and he apologized for the way she was being. This place should really be condemned. Several months ago I came through drive thru and ordered a limeade. When I pulled to window I legitimately watched the woman working there use her fingers WITHOUT GLOVES pickup my cherries and put in my drink. When she looked up she saw me see her and still tried to hand me the drink. I asked her to remake it, she kind of chuckled then said sure. Couldn’t even drink the second one made because then my mind got to thinking “what other unsanitary things are they doing?”

Why I gave them another chance idk. But, I just left there today. Also ordered just a limeade. The girl making it didn’t do anything out of the norm. But, before I could pull off a man refilling the drive thru ice came up and dumped the ice in their container. But, what took me by surprise was that he was using a legit GARBAGE CAN. Now obviously I’m assuming the can is just used for ice. But, I’m 100% sure the service industry actually has buckets for this. No need to use a garbage can bought at your local dollar store. Then I started looking around, there’s wires coming from the ceiling, ceiling tiles collapsed and overall it looks filthy. I will NEVER eat here...

I went to this Drive thru on 7/17. Upon ordering when my food was received I get a bag with a note on it that reads "Are you Lizzo" "cause the way your eating THAT appetite has to be big". This was the most disrespectful thing I have ever experienced at a place of business. When I went to talk the manager the boy that wrote the note opened the door laughing. The manager comes and says oh I didn't know he did that. I told him stop playing so much. I was supposed to receive a refund. I didn't . Then she send the same boy back out. At this point you should not have even had this employee interacting with me. To which he says we'll you're the only one complaining still laughing. I called corporate still have not received any response back from the manager or anything. I also emailed corporate to which the response was we would like to send you a free drink! SONIC RESTURANTS ARE COMPLETLY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY CLEARLY DONT CARE about how the employees treat the customers.
