I've gone to many pho places and I understand that not everybody cooks at the same, but this place has zero flavor. Spring rolls were disgusting. Egg rolls were okay. When I first walked in I noticed a very private quiet area to the left and I wanted to sit there , but was told it was for family gatherings or big parties there were four tables in that section each table sat 4 people, not like I wanted a 6top ....either way I was sat at another 4top , it was only my son and I ... And to top it off it was past lunch hour and it was nearly empty the odds of a big party were little to none. I should have took that sign and walked out at the beginning but I didn't want to make a big deal about it and decided to stay to eat , I hate to be an exaggerator or even write nasty reviews but that was the worst $25 plus tip I've ever wasted. The service was horrible as well ... the waiter dropped off the menu didn't ask what we wanted to drink as we reviewed it , Then Took forever to take our order, I also had placed a plate to the end of the table with some trash on it hoping it would have been picked up but it wasn't. Maybe the rice plates are better but if you are going for the pho and spring rolls I suggest you don't go, but I wouldn't go back just because...
Read moreIf I could give them 0 stars I would! Ordered combination rice and pho beef noodles. This is my first time at this establishment so I am very new to the menu. Anna at the front desk first skipped behind me assuming I was not ready to ask customers behind me if they where ready to order. Finally when I ordered my food, atleast the food came out in good timing. After receiving my to go order I got home and mixed the dry noodles, vegetables, and meat with the sauce that was provided. Not knowing that the meat was RAW, I began to take 2 bites then I noticed something did not taste right. After noticing that the meat was Raw I called the restaurant back and spoke to Anna who was extremely rude who told me “if you wanted the meat cook, you would of had to tell us to cook it”. How am I supposed to know that I would have to state that, if it does not say that anywhere on the menu nor was I asked that by the cashier(Anna). As I explained to her that I am pregnant and cannot eat Raw meat she was extremely rude trying to cut me off as I spoke and then rushing off to hang up in my face by saying “I have a customer calling on the other line” and hung...
Read moreThis was my first experience here. Caught it on the way home on a wild hair. Must say I am always wary of ordering "entree" soups as takeout. Either end up mushy, or you get half as much as you would dining in. I have to say this place blew me out of the water!!! Had the special #37 Bun Bo Hue and #5 Bo Cuon. First off they properly separated the noodles and other veggies from the Broth. Bravo! Also the Beef rolls were not just full of green vegetables, but tons of grilled Beef. Another check! Total cost was around $15. I had half for dinner and the other half for lunch today. Absolutely cannot beat 2 full meals for that with a stick! The only POSSIBLE dings I could give was communication ordering was a bit tricky and extra extra spicy was not so much. First adds to authenticity, second I'm sure they could have lit me up but refrained since too many people would complain (boo!). Neither has stopped me from wholeheartedly giving this establishment 5 stars! Give it a shot, you will not regret it.
I would have added photos, but it's all gone. I am fat and happy writing...
