I absolutely, absolutely do NOT recommend this place. If you are considering sending your child here, think again and again.
About 3 weeks ago, I sent an email to register, filled out a form, and we attended a trial class. After the class, my daughter said she liked it, and we decided to continue. The only person teaching there is a woman named Lizzie. There is no reception and no professional setup. They advertise with the name of an actress, but in reality, a rude and ignorant woman is trying to teach children.
Lizzie told me a payment link would be sent by email, but I never received one. The second week I asked again, she said âit will come.â After the holiday, when we came back, she stood at the door and, in front of all the kids and parents, loudly said: âBecause you havenât paid, I cannot allow your child into the class.â She humiliated my daughter, who started crying, and we were left ashamed.
On top of that, she lied by claiming we were 38 minutes late. This is completely false. We were only 3 minutes late, and another student entered just before us. Management believed this lie without checking and defended her.
I always said I wanted to pay, but no option was given to me. No payment system, no communication, no professionalism. Instead, they defend someone who lies.
Do not send your child to a place like this. This woman does not know how to speak to children or communicate with parents. I will never bring my...
Read moreNext Level Acting has been a part of our family for almost 11 years. My daughter started with Next Level in junior high and stayed with them all through high school (where she excelled in theatre and was the president of the theatre department in her senior year). My son has been at Next Level for three years now. We chose Next Level because of Miss Elsa's time in answering our questions and her openness about their program. We stay with Next Level because they see each student individually when assessing their needs, their strengths, and their potential, and then draw out the best in each of them. The lessons taught at Next Level transcend theatre/film/acting and are applied in academics and in real life experiences. The teachers take an interest in what their students are doing not just related to acting, but in their lives and interests. Children and teens who go through these classes have support and encouragement to test themselves and to apply themselves. We pay a very small tuition in comparison to all the many benefits our children have received at this studio and we are forever grateful for all they do for them. I wish I could stay and tell you more, but it's time to take my son to...
Read moreBeyond impressed with the caliber of training and how well the exercises translate to skits I would use to differentiate myself as a potential SNL cast member. Took time off for kids and heading back. Was so grateful for the open arms to return and the seat saved! Deke truly cares about his students and our unique goals! He is professional while also giving genuine feedback to help us advance and excel in our respective...
