This 'N That — Local services in Spring

I visited this store twice hoping to support a local business, but both times left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. Upon walking in, the owner greeted us, but then kept a constant eye on my family and me throughout our visit—so much so that it felt intrusive. There were other customers in the store at the same time who didn’t receive the same level of scrutiny, and notably, they were not people of color.

I initially gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe it was just a one-time occurrence. However, when I returned for a second visit, the same thing happened again. It’s hard to ignore the racial bias I sensed from the owner, and while I genuinely like the product, I no longer feel comfortable shopping here. When back for a Secound visit and owner was a real rude reaction when I asked for anything made in USA . Every single item is made in China . Mabe olive oil is from here but not willing to take a chance . Everything is very over priced . Prices don’t match what other shops in the area are pricing things . Owner seems very pushy to make a sale. Don’t think I’ll be returning here to shop for sure . Tourist beware ! Only wish they ...

Nice little shop even got to meet the owner a real good ol boy Texan with a sense of humor and love for the state of Texas. They have everything here from food to nick nacks to bath and body stuff.
