Read moreI love Culver's. It was my first job that I held for six and a half years to pay for college, and I never got sick of the food.
In short, the new tri-county store leaves much to be desired.. the disorganization of staff led to long wait times, multiple people doing multiple jobs, and nobody seems to actually know what they're doing. Nobody has a sense of urgency or a care to get food out to the drive thru and keep it moving. Food sat under heat lamps for 30+ minutes, which is me regurgitating the complaint of a patron that was waiting for his food at the counter. The condiments bar was disheveled, with bags of straws left out, cup lids scattered about, pop spills everywhere. The "set" counter was an organizational nightmare as well. There were four different people doing set at once...because the shift manager was running orders and the runners were taking over.
To argue that the place was understaffed makes zero sense. This was a Saturday night with 7 customers in the lobby and a line of cars outside. They had 2 people wishing drive thru (which is all you need), one person on shakes, one register person, and one runner. I've given this site the benefit of the doubt, acknowledging they're new and staff needs to learn... But a few months in and they have the same issues with time management and organization.
It pains me to give a bad review, but I really hope the franchiser gets more involved with hiring better management. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my order came out correct and food tasted as great as it should. I will likely not be coming back to this location unless it is...
Read moreI called cooperate. Something really bizarre happened to me. I had an event to be at, and ordered a burger with no cheese, specifying I can’t have cheese because it’s an allergy. I then restated this again through the drive though when they started repeating my order. I picked up the food, and went to my event. I made it there 15 minutes late, but when I went to eat my burger, it was smothered in 2 pieces of melted cheese. I wasn’t able to peel or scrape it off. So I had to drive almost 20 minutes back to get a new order. I did call and was frustrated I was missing my event now entirely at this point, but I did try to be nice and not rude. I get there, and who I assume may have been the manager- a 40ish year old guy- then has the employees lined up across the front and started calling out to me loudly in a passive aggressive attitude, talking in a loud voice about my order mix up like he wanted to embarrass or shame me. The coworkers begin to snicker and stare at me. He then over dramtically handed me my burger bag and did this creepy awkward little bow like motion. I left, and one of the young girls came outside and was smiling and gave me a look. I was scared to eat my burger wondering had they done something nasty to my food. It was so bizarre. Yes, I was frustrated at missing my event, but I was not rude to anyone and even smiled when I came in the store. Even said “thank you.” Dude, I just wanted my burger so I could go. Why the...
