Buddy’s home furnishings was one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had poor management, poor customer service and a high turnover ratio made it a very stressful place to work not to mention there very low pay witch you could barely live off. They struggle to make orders in a timely fashion and get merchandise out to customers, delivery guys were very unreliable and couldn’t perform any other functions in the store other than moving furniture and the manager (Eli) was very none involved with daily operations often would sit at his desk and play on his phone, gossip about his and his other stores gambling issues and other coworkers such as Corry’s personal business with his gambling addiction and problems with his girlfriend at home or Kens personal issues with his gf and debts he owed him from gambling and placing bets they made in the store while at work. I was a key holder and was always the first person there despite the store being in shambles. I personally felt like I took the job more serious than others around me. They put so much pressure on the sales lady (Betzy) to produce sales and often had her involved with collections witch wasn’t in her job title I felt sorry for her. They couldn’t hold a steady district manager which created problems on the store level when customers would want to speak to someone over the store manager. Back room, files and show room was very unorganized and a lot of the furniture was garbage to say the least. Delivery trucks were very poorly maintained felt like my safety was at risk on the road in those vehicles. The GreenSprings location is the worst store in the whole market if you want to do business with the company I would not suggest you go to that location or go to another rental company...
Read moreNever had any problems in the past. This time however has not been the best experience. Went into the store with specific couches in mind, and I understood that they didnt have those couches in store and that they had to be ordered from the warehouse. Today however was possibly the worst treatment I have gotten from this store. I would advise that if you put a customer on hold that you ensure they are on hold and dont hear the conversation "You never ordered their couches. Male associate responds he did but they were not approved. Female associate responds it was a special order and they have been waiting" while hearing all this I got hung up on. Keep in mind I have been paying weekly for couches I have been waiting on and have not received. They did give loaner couches that have a lower weekly payment, but I have been paying the higher price for the couches that were to be ordered WEEKS AGO!!!
What has me upset the most is instead of admitting to the mistake made, I get a phone call back with blatant lies stating they should be here in 1-2 weeks but I don't have a specific time of...
Read moreAn absolute, predatory scam.
I put a $200 downpayment on an $800 piece of furniture and made it very clear that I wanted that $200 payment to be run as credit for the weekly payments because they told me it was an option. Every couple of weeks from November to Feb. I'm making 100 or 50 dollar payments, and I call to see my balance and it is $500 and change.
The guy told me that I had been getting late fees because I hadn't been making weekly payments, mind you my minimum payments were $23 roughly. I said I made it clear that since I was paying well over the minimums that my payments should be taken out of those bulk payments as credit as the damn guy in the store told me they could be. The guy then said that I have to call in and authorize it every. Single. Week. To be allowed to be taken out of credit. No one specified this catch to me.
I asked for a printout of my payments 3 times and was told they'd be emailed to me and they never were even once.
Wanting to be done with them, I called to make my payment in full but nope they said I can only do that in store. Awful...
