Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Springettsbury Township

Me and my husband shop here at the east york pa store for years now.i will say that we were not happy about having to wait on being taken care of while on the floor shopping or when being rung out..while shopping I stopped a lady that was working putting up freight and asked about an item I was looking for..rather then show Me where the item might be she pointed and Said if we have any they will be in that area and pointed..so I headed that way n hoped I was looking in the right area..left not knowing if we were or not to go pay for our stuff once up front the line was already 3 ppl there n the cashier called for help.when the lady came up she went to a register to help and there was no drawer in it..so she looked at the other cashier and said that there wasn't a drawer there for her..so she left and within a few mins another lady came up n said about the other lady needing to be called up to help.the cashier meantime tells her that she did have someone come up but there wasn't a drawer there.n by the time all of this transpired the line was just getting longer.then 2 workers were up there talking back and forth about some other stuff not pertaining to the store n a lady brought up a drawer n did switch it into the right area it belonged at..all the while we are waiting to be rung out.they did finally get us rung out but by then it was so frustrating that I didn't want to be in there at all.so no help on the floor when asked except pointed too.and not enough help up front n what help was there was busy talking n not getting ppl thru a line. The poor cashier that was there was trying ro help.but at times one does need an extra hand..I hope...

This is one of the worst Ollie’s I’ve ever been too. Just do yourself a favor and drive the extra bit to the Rodney Rd one. I’ve had a better experience going to the DMV than shopping at this establishment. The selection is better on Rodney Rd and prices are the same. At this Ollies the selection of products are always an unorganized mess, the store overall just looks old and unkept, employees act friendly when you go talk to them but anything outside a 2ft radius of them they just don’t care. Had an experience before here when the check out line was curving, 3 registers open and the manager shuts one down, everything is now a crawl, client start blasting music on a speaker while in line and singing along none of the store employees even batted an eye at it. Went to check out and without even being asked if I wanted to share my information with them the manager asked for my email address to check out. Just an overall awful experience and I’ll make sure to let everyone I know not to come shop at...

We were shopping in there today and my husband moved a coat rack that was blocking some pictures I wanted to look at. They were on the top shelf, taller than me, and an employee came and grabbed the coat rack and just stared at me, she told me she has to put the rack back, I told her it was blocking the items I wanted to look at and she just continued standing there staring at me. I said "don't you want to sell your product?". I then stopped looking and started putting the pictures I had pulled down back, but she was making me so uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave so after I put a few back I laid the rest on the shelf and walked away. I think they all fell when she put the coat rack back, there was a very loud crash. Anyway, we bought a few wall decor and probably would have bought some more items, but we just wanted to leave, we even almost just left all our stuff behind.
