I have to leave a review about our wonderful experience with our recent repair. Our Sony TV died and needed repair. Sony set us up with B&K Audio and Video for Warranty repair. I read reviews on this business and was concerned a little with why this business has only received the 3.1 star rating. I called the day before to confirm our tv repair service and if parts had been received and was told everything was in order and they confirmed the time they would be at our home. James and his wonderful wife came by our home on time and during the repair he was very pleasant and very kind and answered all our questions with a smile. He was very careful in ensuring that when laying the TV down on our coffee table that blankets were down to protect the front of the TV while he worked on the unit. In watching his diagnosis of our TV he was very skilled and had all the tools needed to repair the TV quickly. He helped me put the TV back on the Entertainment Center and stayed with us until I had most of the TV settings back up since the main board had to be replaced and was like getting a whole brand new TV all over again. I cannot express how thankful we were in getting this type of great service. I called the next day to speak to the owner but got James answering the phone and I thanked him for being so kind in taking care of us and expressed to him that we would not have an issue with calling him quickly to take care of our needs in the future if the situation arises again. Read moreI took in a Harmon Kardon Blu-ray, receiver, amplifier in because the power supply was not working. I took over two months for me to get it supposedly fixed. Once I got home and connected the unit it did turn on, however, the display was no longer working. I took it back to them as the display was working prior to them working on the unit. They try to tell me it was supposed to be an onscreen display and it was working. I had to show them a picture of the box where it cleared showed the display on the unit. Three months later, I still could not get a definite respond from anyone. I went to retrieve my equipment and was never offered any kind of credit or repair option. If they did not have the parts or technical experience to fix it, that's ok. But they should be honest about it and not take things they can't fix. What made it worse, the power supply they supposedly replaced/or patched, stop working a month after I retrieved my equipment. I would never recommend...
