By far the cleanest and most organized card shop in Ohio, I've been to almost all of them and this is consistently the best. As far as sealed wax they have an amazing, widespread selection of hobby boxes, retail and single packs. They also offer grading services, which not too many shops do. I'm just talking about sports cards which is only about a fourth of the shop, they're TCG side of the shop always seems packed with people playing and seems to me they have just as big if not bigger selection of singles and sealed boxes for TCG. Not to mention a big part of their store is video games and video game consoles old and new it's really an all-inclusive experience if you're into collectibles. I will say though if you are selling they are not interested in low-end cards as far as sports go. They're looking for $50 and up preferably graded modern cards, which is understandable. Either way it's a great shop. I drive over an hour and a half just to come to the shop bypassing all the ones in Columbus and the surrounding areas...
Read moreMy husband and 9 year old walked in with a really nice collection and they barley bothered looking it over. My husband explained that my son is trying to buy an Xbox by selling his collection. They flipped through a couple pages and told my son he didn't really have anything. My husband is an adamant collector and knows he has a lot of valuable cards in that binder even at half price. So I guess what it comes down to, since people at this establishment are too bothered to do their job, we can really break it down and come back and ask exactly what the issue is. I guess it isn't worth their time if it's not graded. I understand certain card stores are out for specific cards/customer demand but to tell a kid he doesn't really have much after flipping a couple pages of a thick binder, he has invested a lot of time in, is really upsetting. Definitely could have been handled differently or even referred us to another store who may be interested in a...
Read moreJust started buying football cards again, nothing serious. Just a fun hobby for my 5 year old and me to do together, opening packs was always my favorite as a child. This is the only place I can always count on to have individual packs, armature collectors like us can buy without having to get an expensive box. We spend 20 dollars every other week or so, get 4-5 packs, and get to go home and open them up together. All the bad reviews seem to be people who wanted to sell and get rich and are upset they couldn't. This store has it all. All the games, sports, collectables, just...
