As someone who loves cookies and is followed dirty dough on Instagram for a while, I was super excited to give them a try when I heard they were opening a store in Springfield.
Starting off with the service, the two people running the store were extremely friendly and willing to break down the concept behind dirty dough cookies and explain each flavor with a smile on their face.
Next, let’s talk about the atmosphere. There isn’t really much to the store. It’s very clean but very simple. Not really a place that’s conducive for sitting and eating, but neither is Crumbl. This is more of a pick up and take home type place.
Let’s talk about the cookies! The cookies are kept and warmers and served fresh to every single customer. No cookies left out sitting. The menu was diverse, delicious, and fun. I tried the raspberry toaster tart cookie, and it blew my socks off! Similar to a pop tart, the cookie was covered in a vanilla icing and filled with raspberry jam. Because the cookie is filled, it does affect The texture of the cookie. When I picked it up, it started to bend and split at the middle. Read moreOh my goodness!! My sister -in-law and I stepped in after lunch at the Palm and Paddle and I’m glad we did. Great experience. The service was stellar as well as the experience and cookies. Kramer was so funny… and easy to talk to… He explained what each cookie consisted of and made our experience at the Dirty Dough fun… I chose a box of four… Brookie, Parent Trap, PB & Jealous, and the Mystery Cookie… the cookies are good size and so yummy…. They do change the Mystery Cookie option out and few other flavors are also rotated and changed weekly. If you haven’t visited the Dirty Cookie located on Campbell by the La Quinta Inn, you are missing out! If I had to choose a favorite from this visit it would be the PB&Jealous. I’m a peanut butter and jelly nut…this cookie was filled with raspberry jam which is my favorite… however, I loved them all and can’t wait to go back and try the...
Read moreMy daughter and I stopped in late on a snowy night when not many people were out and we were welcomed with a smile! The smell of the buttery cookies slams into you as soon as you cross the threshold. I love the concept - cookies filled with goodness! I have issues laying $6 for a regular cookie - but these weren’t regular. We tried the cookies and crème, wedding cake, peanut butter and fudge and the fudge/marshmello one and oh my they did not disappoint! They were sensationally crispy on the outside and comfortably soft and warm on the inside and omg the flavors!! The cookies and crème was our favorite followed by the peanut butter and fudge. We got 3 cookies and the total was just over $16 but man was it worth it. I cannot recommend...
