Dollar Tree — Local services in Springfield

Not sure why one star is an option for poor service at this location. I work in retail and this store manager w.e her name is because her customer service needs so much work. As I'm waiting in line to check out the cashier shuts his light off now no other customer is behind me after he does that so it's only right that he ring me up last. As I got closer to checking out the store manager proceeds to tell me he will not be ringing me up and I have to go stand behind the long line of people. She then begins to say that there is one line when there were multiple lines... she then begins to tell me there are now 2 lines now ... then yea it gets crazy tells me if I don't co.ply she is going to put me out and tells another associate to ring me up I had to tell her no I refuse to skip anyone to appease you. What took the cake she to him to ring me up and not take any other customer until I went to his line.... like what kind of store manager does that. I was ready and willing to spend my money at this location and this was my first time here smh. Never again and I will be calling corporate Monday morning and they need to retrain the store manager. She is so nasty to her associates how can anyone work there? Remove her asap or give her...

The employees hired by your managers need major training. I will not shop at this location again. Employees walk around with their ear buds talking on the phone with their friends. They are ringing up purchases and are mumbling to who ever they are talking on the phone. Then claim they are talking to me. What ever conversation she was having it was not directed at me. I worked in retail was a manager for many years, I would never let one of my employees respond to a customer saying " you don't tell me what to do". As far as I am concerned my spending pays her minimum wage salary and these kids have NO WORK ETHICS AND YOUR MANAGERS PERPETUATE THE BEHAVIOR THE ATITUTE AND RUDENESS. This dollar tree is very nice one because it’s new and two Cuz. They have a reoccurring supply most Dollar trees don’t have as many products as this one actually does and they keep new products in circulation to like something I would find at a pet store for $16 I could find there for $1.25 and I feel like it’s current it’s keeping up to date with the new trends, and they always seem to have the things I need when I needed. I gave four stars instead of five because they are short-staffed and I feel like if they hired more people it would be a little bit better so that all there wouldn’t be one person on the floor packing out and then another person on the register at least four people in the store at a time realistically to one register two packing out so the workload is...
