My only nitpick is that their chicken wings are small, they don't have homemade ice tea, and the door at the front of their store is locked (you have to go through the driveway to get to their alternate entrance, and there's no paper to tell you that).
Their prices are very fair. I got like 5 or 6 chicken wings and shrimp fried rice for $10 and some change, and they only charge 3% extra if you're paying with card/google/apple pay.
Their chicken was alright, but their shrimp fried rice was TO DIE FOR. When I tell you I've eaten Chinese food my entire life all over New Jersey and New York, and this is the BEST shrimp fried rice I've ever had!? I don't know if the shrimp fry made the difference, and the shrimps weren't that big, but the rice was SO FLAVORFUL! I have no idea what they did differently, because the rice looks like white rice that was turned yellow, instead of the typical yellow rice you get with shrimp fried rice. Whatever the case, I could not stop eating their rice. I am full and I only have a little rice left. My stomach can't take anymore, but my taste buds can't stop! I am addicted!
I forgot to take a picture until I ate...
Read moreThis was our go to spot for their Mongolian beef.. until today . We ordered the same thing as we usually do but they made it way too overly spicy . Menu item A23 there is no chili 🌶 warning … Slight kick is ok .. but this was way too spicy and not enjoyable . So after a few bites me and my wife gave up and just gave a call to just have it made without the extra spice. At first they tried to say that their own menu flyer both online and paper menu was wrong and that it comes this spicy .. mind you we order the same dish for the past 2 years .. finally they said they’ll send a new order .. i wasn’t upset just wanted to enjoy our food that was paid for . The thing that bothered me is when the delivery man comes to the door he asks for the opened food back. No problem, but just very odd .. that a restaurant would ask for opened food back… as if we where trying to pull one over on them lol . Pretty insulting but nonetheless i tipped the delivery man .. again .. but will not be ordering from this place again . And hopefully no one ordered “spicy” Mongolian beef later that...
Read moreHorrendous. This place used to be so well-run, the staff friendly, the food delicious. After the pandemic, a new owner took over and they are surly, unfriendly, and the food is terrible. The beef is gelatinous and funny tasting, and the chicken is the same way. A few days ago, I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and egg drop soup. I might as well have ordered hot water — it was so liquidy and had zero flavor - like someone took tap water, threw in some frozen shrimp, and called it shrimp with lobster sauce. Actually, my tap water had more flavor. Not even kidding.
I suspect their food is not cooked fresh every day and they don’t buy freshest meat. In spite of this, I wouldn’t have even written this bad review because it’s not my style. But the deciding factor is their rudeness. The folks behind the counter are completely absent of charm or civility. No “thank you” when they give you their poorly cooked food, no “hello” when you come in. I’ll take my money elsewhere, and would do so even if they had good food, like the...
