Avion Place — Local services in St. Ann

I was trying to get more information about this complex and schedule a tour. I was hesitant at first because the reviews on Apartment.com are awful and most of the reviews discussed this place being infested with roaches. But then I saw the Google reviews, which seemed more positive and all the reviews talked highly of someone named Karl. Well I just called to try to schedule a tour for a Saturday and the person Karl answered the phone and he wasn’t the nicest nor was he welcoming and kind. I was told by Karl, the leasing office is closed on weekends and only opened M-F and closes at 5:00pm. I then ask well how do you accommodate someone who works a 8-5 and is not available on weekdays but is interested in moving here? He replied with a very bland and discouraging, “well no, we typically don’t, I’m a one man person working the leasing office.” I said okay I understand that but you simply just don’t make any accommodations at all? He replied with well when are you looking to move in and I said within the next month and he then says they don’t have any openings until December. That’s fine but I thought it was strange that I received a text from their offices saying they have a 1BR and a 2BR available now. All in all, I’m disappointed in the short interaction I had with Karl over the phone, he was not welcoming, not accommodating, and his tone was rather rude. Please do not move here these are absolutely the worst apartments I’ve ever stayed in. The pipes burst in our building the weekend of Christmas which lets me know they haven’t checked anything in the building and these are the only apartments I’ve never been to that doesn’t have 24 hour maintenance, no one in the building could get in contact with anyone the whole weekend it took for us to call the fire department and for them to contact the city of St. Ann for someone to come out to us which they condemned our whole building so I was forced to take my daughter to a hotel room mind you temp was below freezing and I was out of hundreds of dollars paying for a hotel which they did nothing about. Lastly I talked to the property manager and she said I was able to break my lease and move out and get my deposit, so when I asked for my deposit they had the audacity to put my deposit on January rent like it was my fault I had to move out. They are slumlords and they are tryna get over on people if i could give them a negative rating I would. I would rather stay in a cardboard box before i...

this was my second apartment and by far the worst experience i could imagine. the management is incredibly rude and inconstistent. the hallways are beyond dirty, it’s digisting and a complete embarrassment to have had called my home. i have asked 5 times for my fans to be fixed and 3 months have passed. it still hasn’t gotten fixed. i was told i would get a new bathroom door because it keeps falling off the hinges, but again, it’s 6 days past when they said they would do it and i still have no bathroom door. the oven knobs fall off and it occasionally turns on by itself. i reported that 4 months ago with numerous follow ups and still no help. the back door doesn’t lock to my building so anyone could walk in. this makes it incrediably unsafe, not to mention the 12 sex offenders within a couple mile radius. the rent they are asking for the condition and quality of living in these apartments is outrageous and i would never recommend this...
