ALDI — Local services in St. John

The employees are great, and everyone has always been very friendly. However, this has to be the dirtiest Aldi I have ever been to on a pretty consistent basis. The cart return area is filled with trash. The floors are always dirty and littered with trash. I moved out to the St. John area from Hammond, which has a reputation of being a little scuzzy. The North Hammond Aldi, which was the one we always went to, was consistently much cleaner than the one in St. John. First time in this particular location. They had a ton of stuff in the Aldi finds aisle. They did not have the stuffed gnomes here and no where else around here seems to have them either. I have been to a couple other local Aldi locations and they never seem to have the "Bailey's" irish creams. This one had strawberry, chocolate mint and original. I bought a couple of each and 3 of the chocolate mint for St patrick's day. I also bought a bottle of chocolate wine because why not!! Sometimes you need chocolate and wine . Great store with great deals! If you don't shop here already, definitely start! Aldi has save us hundreds of dollars and it comes with no compromises! Fresh produce and special finds! EDIT: I removing 2 starts because the produce has been quite bad lately and the replaced all but 1 register with these stupid self checkout lines that are constantly problematic. What is the point of checking myself out if the machine has going to require customer assistance 3 times each transaction. It's just a garbage way of trying to save money by not have to...
