Starbucks — Restaurant in St. John

Every now and then, I stop into the Starbucks in Saint John to get some work done or just enjoy a coffee, and every time I’m reminded why I choose this location over the other four nearby. The experience here is truly something special—and that’s largely thanks to the incredible manager, Lauren.

Lauren always finds small but meaningful ways to elevate the customer experience. You can genuinely tell that she and her team care about the people who walk through the door. They remember names, orders, and treat each customer like a regular, which creates such a welcoming and personal atmosphere.

Had some bad experience with different Starbucks locations before that I stopped going to any Starbucks until I found this location in St John. This location is a perfect way for me to start or end my day. The staff are very pleasant and they go beyond in making their customers happy. Today, was an unusual event 😂. I was enjoying my drink but I notice something suspicious floating in my drink that I thought was ice cube until it sank to the bottom of my cup. I have called the store right away to let them know about the issue and make corrections so that other customers would not experience this. Spoke to one of the staff Lauren, and I have a description of what I got in my cup. Should not be posting any pictures but I want her to truly believe me 😂. She listened and told me that they will make a way to make sure this won’t happen to any customers. Your store is still 5...

I had a bad experience there. I went in, on 5-4-24. The cashier saw my niece and I standing there for a few minutes until she decided to help us. When she approached us, she didn't even greet us and was super dry/cold like if we were bothering her. She barely want to answer a question I had for her. At the end of my transaction she didn't even say thank you. We step over to the ladies that were making the drinks which were very nice. Then a man from a different enthinity comes in, and asked the same lady for water and she was super pleasant with him... Go Figure. They also didn't have the 4 cup carriers so the ladies making our drinks gave us bags so we can carry the drinks to our car and that same lady is asking the ladies if they didn't have carriers and they told her they ran out. Her demeanor was not pleasant at all...all I know is that I won't be returning...
