Honestly, this is the first time that I've had a shake from Culver's The Taste was good, it wasn't anything more exciting than a regular Shake but it wasn't anything less. The thing that I thought was bizarre is that their large Shake was not very large. I guess their sizes are medium and regular or regular and large but they both looked exactly the same. Also the staff should be more conscientious when they hand you the shake I realize that they are wearing gloves but the patrons are not or usually are not so decide when it's a dripping with ice cream and you hand somebody a shake that's tripping with ice cream maybe you should have wipes at first? And lastly, you've walked out to my car far away from the entrance I've been waiting for my shake for some time, that was the only thing my ordered was a shake and now I'm ready to go I'm tired I've been waiting in a super long line for a large, not so large shake and what the heck? I get no napkins and there's ice cream slimed it down the side of the cup? Look Culver's is good, don't get me wrong but is it worth the hype? Not really. It is super expensive for just a little cup of ice cream. It's more expensive than Dairy Queen which, I think Dairy Queen prices has gotten really high. I realize they're really busy, but just take a second, take a little pride in your work, I wipe off the cups, and grab a napkin and it will make all the difference in someone's day. And it can make a not so great 3-star Shake into a...
Read moreHere are my two biggest gripes with Culver’s.
First, when they say, what can I make fresh for you today, it’s on many occasions insulting because I get food that is nowhere near fresh. Fries cold and soggy, chicken tenders barely fried in such a war you can literally smear the breading it’s so wet. At in n out burger, everything is fresh. Potatoes are cut into fries and immediately dropped into the fryer. The burger ALWAYS looks like the picture. It’s possible to do this but two things have to happen. We as consumers need to demand the food be high quality. It’s partially the co diners fault for accepting food that looks terrible. Then, the restaurant has to come in and increase standards by retraining people. So yeah, if you’re going to say my food will be fresh, then make it fresh.
Second, I am blown away by the price and it’s deceiving how expensive the beef is, let’s break it down with some math. A patty from Culver’s weighs roughly 1oz and costs 1.90 per patty. There are 16oz in a pound. So 16 X 1.90 is $30.40. You can buy filet mignon for that price. Not to mention, the order was a double deluxe with 3 extra patty’s and I only got 4. The prices are absurd and simply not worth it.
Good luck, I’ve personally stoped eating fast food after that last burger...
Read moreWhere is the entrance signs, and arrows. We ordered Togo. They repeated the order at both windows. What we ordered wasn't what we got. WE ate in car because of covid-19. We ordered 2 fish sandwiches one order of crispy fries no salt and tartar sauce on the side. We got.... Oil taste burnt or old. Barely any soggy lettuce on the sandwiches. Fries were flimsy and highly salted. They put no tartar sauce in the bag. I love the fish sandwiches at Culver's by 41 and 30. We will not be going back to Culver's in St. John. It is a bad location to get in and out of.. We will go to McDonald's a half block down the street for a fish sandwiches for a much better price. And get a couple of apple pies. I have found not all Culver's are the...
