Unfortunately, this gym cannot be bothered communicating to new families. I tried my best to get both my girls in a class there and it was a completely frustrating experience. If you have questions good luck getting answers. And if you do, expect one-two word replies. This is the only gym I've had issues with communication despite her comment about [her] lack of communication being "industry standard". If every gym lacked basic communication skills I don't see how they could survive. Again, I had zero issues with the many other gyms I reached out to.
They are very unprofessional and do not know how to run a business. Just the fact that they solicite 5 star reviews right after a negative hit should be a reg flag to you. Just wait until this is posted, 5 star reviews will follow, it happened before. That's how these less than par facilities work who don't actually earn their 5 star reviews. All friends and families review for them. I'd look elsewhere, there are MANY other cheer and tumble gyms, with better comp teams, in the area, that value their potential new families as well.
The only thing I would hope is for them to improve thier communication and customer service skills to not lose more families. Maybe they need a coordinator. I would have brought 4 families to her facility but she just lost all that money over her lack of...
Read moreMy daughter joined Twisters just this past summer! She loves the gym, her team mates and her coaches. She has thrived there and is very excited to be a flyer and going to her very first competition. She has learned what dedication means to this sport and her team! We are so excited for all they have taught her so quickly and how fast she has adapted to her new cheer family!
Adding to my review! It is really irritating that other people say bad things about this cheer gym and then proceed to tell you to be aware of the 5 star reviews. This is my daughters second year as an elite all star cheerleader and my other daughters first year as an elite all star cheerleader. These coaches work hard to make sure these athletes succeed. First year as an all star gym and they go to Nationals in Florida. They participate in many community events and they expect the highest standards from their athletes when representing their name. This gym is very busy and may take a little longer to get back to you but I felt it was worth the wait. Maybe I am just a little more patient then...
Read moreI have no idea what the dynamics of this gym are, and maybe once you're in, it isn't an issue. But thier communication is AWEFUL, at least being someone on the outside interested in getting in. I inquired about a Monday class, they said "yes" when I asked if they have spots open. I drove 90 minutes round trip to the gym just to find out they were in a conference out of state. They couldn't take the 2 more seconds to add in, "however this Monday we will be out of town", or something like that. Then proceeded to tell me "maybe we aren't the right gym for you", when I shared my frustration about it and thier communication. If this is how they run thier business I doubt it will get very far!
Also, be mindful of 5 star reviews, especially done right after a negative review,...
