Encore At Forest Park — Local services in St. Louis

There will not be enough words to explain how awesome our experience has been here at Encore. We have lived here for 4 years and the ONLY reason we are having to leave this review now and is because we have to move to another country. Otherwise we would love to keep living here. During our 4 years living here at Encore we have not only been taken care of incredibly well by all the staff here but we have also gotten to enjoy living in Saint Louis in a safe, convenient, reliable and super comfortable place. We have felt spoiled and we have been. Everyone, from the security guards, to the cleaning staff, to the people in the main office is always eager to help out and also make your experience living here top notch. While we lived here we got to experience enjoying the pool, the gym, having an amazing parking facility where our cars and motorcycle never got anything broken or stolen, we were able to have a pet live with us and he was even awarded "pet of the month once" and was given several prizes for it! The staff always is thinking of the next fun thing to do for its residents, from special events, catering, parties, free yummy stuff, free gifts online (I once scored a gift from the coffee shop next door ) which is cool I think that they partner up with neighboring businesses as well! The trash rooms and the areas and gardens are always impeccable ( that is hard to keep up with so many people living in one place ). There is a special room where you can host a party or event for a couple people with a cool fire pit, we used it for our Pre-wedding/rehearsal dinner party for our families - it was perfect and intimate - We have also utilized the "suite" they rent with a very special deal for residents in case they have a visitor or two. Its pretty much the best deal you will ever find - basically a very cozy apartment for cheaper price than any hotel room you will find, with access to all the things you have as a resident like pool and gym, equipped with things like a fridge, stove, plates, washer, etc etc.. Being able to rent this for our families when they visited was so convenient and saved a lot on ubers and transport, since they are basically staying here with you in the same building. As you can tell, we LOVE Encore and we are so sad to have to go but wanted to leave a review that could help you choose a great place to live in with an incredible location too! I could go on and on, but make sure to visit, see it for yourself, and move here! you will not regret it... and remember, you might be paying a lil more, but you ARE getting that much more when you are comparing apartments around the area. I recently moved out of Encore and I can't begin to express how much I miss this complex, the staff, residents and the amenities. 2B Properties has the most exceptional staff and property expectations - it guarantees your apartment complex feels like a community and a home.

When I came to Encore (nearly 2 years ago), I was leaving a property owned by MAC Properties in STL. The place was a complete disaster - I had no heat for 3-4 days in January, the maintenance team refused to clean out a tub that had backed up black tar looking fluid for days...the list of issues with MAC Properties goes on and on.

I finally hit my wits' end and drove over to Encore/Cortona as a flustered and unexpected potential resident. Sam Porter walked me through EVERY apartment I wanted to see in both buildings. She was so kind, funny and validated my frustrations with the previous apartment.

I knew immediately after touring I wanted to live at Encore. The application process was incredibly easy and the team was so willing to help me through all my questions and concerns. (Keep in mind I was breaking a lease with MAC and it was complete chaos).

From checking in on move-in day with Ian, to meeting new (lifelong) friends in the lobby while grabbing coffee in the morning or laying at the pool...Encore was home. It wasn't just a space I went back to after work. It was a place I could always rely on being maintained, safe and full of wonderful people.

Naomi (the property manager) was incredibly helpful when I turned in my move-out notice. She and the team ensured I knew every step of the move out process and I actually cried walking out of my apartment for the last time.

In the event I move into an apartment again, 2B Properties will be the only property management company I consider looking at. And if I can find the staff members employed at this complex, I wouldn't hesitate to pack up and move in overnight.

Thank you to the Encore/Cortona staff for an incredible 18 months. When I think of STL as home, this apartment will always be the first...

I lived at Encore at Forest Park for 2 years and I must say that it is a great property! I previously lived at Cortona at Forest Park for 2 years prior to living at Encore, so I knew of the area! Encore is more updated, I had a top 5th-floor unit, which had the multi-colored cabinets (top row was white, bottom row was brown) along with the white granite countertops. I picked this area as I was working at Washington University Medical School Campus at the time, which was a super short commute for me (about 10 minutes).

The only reason I moved out was the fact that I got a job out in the county, so my commute time had tripled and I had wanted to move out of the city. For living in the city, this is one of the safest places you can find. They have a 24/7 security staff that really makes you feel safe. When I was living there as a single female, this was necessary for me! There is also gated parking, which adds to the safe feeling!

I also have to talk about the amenities and the staff. The pool and hot tub are amazing amenities. I used the pool every weekend in the summer and the hot tub a lot in the winter. The coffee machine is great! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but they also have hot chocolate and tea! My friends loved the coffee machine. There is also a nice gym and there are games in the lobby which are fun to play with friends. The staff is 5-stars! They always respond to emails and are so helpful. Even after I have moved out, they helped me locate a package and helped me figure out my final payments.

And finally, I have to mention the best part of Encore; all of the connections you are going to make! Encore hosts monthly events so that you can make friends in the building. This apt has such a community feeling, you will leave having more friends! I felt like I made lifelong friends that I will continue to stay in touch with and do things with. 5-stars for the impact this community has had on my life. Please rent here, you...
