When I booked this loft, the listing clearly stated 2 bathrooms. After checking in, we discovered there was only 1 bathroom - for 12 people to share. (Not sure if this even meets proper city occupancy codes?) When I brought it up to the listing agent (who is not the owner of the loft, but simply rents the space from the kind couple downstairs), she passively said there was only one bathroom and that was it, no apology, nothing. In addition to the misrepresentation of the apartment, there were dirty dishes in the cabinets, issues with the sink in the only bathroom, ran out of paper towels and hand soap (no extras to be found anywhere), and stairs in the kitchen area are in disrepair and an injury risk. When I reached back out to her to discuss the issues, I was ignored. When I left a negative review on VRBO - she DELETED the listing and created a whole new listing to avoid the bad rep. Renter beware -
There are a ton of great, honest property owners out there that provide a great customer experience and this is not one of them. This property is definitely not worth the inflated price when you compare to other homes in the area that provide more than one partially...
Read moreHuge shoutout to Graffiti Loft! I paid them off for My daughter’s 18th birthday party, and then they added on an extra $350 for a “refundable” deposit that didn’t show in any of my payment schedule. I may have taken my exhaustion out when I called, and even apologized for being snippy right away but still think all expected money should be in the original break down. Not added on. Now keep in mind we had to book through VRBO most likely since they’re trying to avoid all the fun costs and inspections that come with being an event space. And after paying over $900 for the room and $600 in fees and cleaning, etc plus the insurance fees in case of damage, I thought it ridiculous to tack on another $350 and pay double the cost of the room. Anyways, still agreed to do it, especially since it’s a month away and already have the dj and caterer booked. And I get an email yesterday they canceled my event. My Dj offered to call and book the dates for me, but when we looked they’d already increased the price for the dates 🙄...
Read moreI was really excited to book my stay at the Graffiti Loft. I reached out via their website and received a response from Maria. She provided all the information I needed, along with a quote. After a couple of days and confirming we would move forward, I texted Maria back to let her know we were ready to book. I did not receive a text back. I then emailed, called countless times (both listed phone numbers), left voicemails, and tried to reach out again via the website. Not a single response. I can't book through airbnb because it would be considered "an event" but i see that the Sept. dates I wanted are still available. I just don't understand why I'm being completely ghosted. It's really odd and I'm super bummed we won't be able to use this space, as it looks...
