The beer list is astoundingly extensive. No matter what type you prefer, there's going to be something here for you. The setup is open and seats plenty, the patio is great. The biggest problem here is service: itap can't decide whether it wants to do table and bar service or bar service only, and instead do the worst combination: ineffective, inconsistent table service. There have been many times when I've been here that a server would come to your table and then not show up again for 30+ minutes. The servers aren't assigned to any particular table, so it's often a different person each time someone comes by. The related problem to this: since the beer list is so extensive and table service is so inconsistent, it's hard to narrow down what you want. The beer names and breweries are on the wall, but often there's no type listed, and because you've got no servers coming by, you can't ask "what types of sour do you have?" Or "what do you have similar to xyz?" When you go up to the bar, you can get these type of answers, but the bar is usually fairly crowded. I'll keep coming here because I like the selection, but I wish the service weren't such a hindrance to...
Read moreThe International Tap House is amazing with great beer which is why I hate to give it 1 start but after a snowy night and no street parking out front my husband and I drove around and found some spots in the rear of the building. We looked around and nothing said tow away zone or employee parking or anything so we parked there. We went inside and enjoyed a couple beers then an hour later we went to leave and someone had parked at a 90 degree angle right behind our bumper and blocked us in. After about 30 minutes, we finally determined it was the manager at International Tap House who went on to yell at us for parking in "employee" parking, she was so rude...I couldn't believe that she was the manager, she is the one that leads others...wow, no respect for her or this place. If they want that area to be employee parking only then they should seriously consider posting a sign. Who blocks people in like that? These people are...
Read moreThe vibe is great! I like the option of grabbing food next door and being able to grab drinks at iTAP. However, my last experience was ruined when a customer brought her dog in and allowed it to walk on the table and up and down the booth seats. Another customer had a large dog and allowed it to lay in the middle of the walkway forcing people to step over it. I understand it's a pet friendly establishment, but they don't always wash the tables down between customers nor do they enforce the customers to control their animals. Not everyone likes animals. Furthermore, dogs are not clean, never have been and never will be. With all of the viruses going around, establishments shouldnt allow animals on tables where humans...
