I went to Target to do some shopping on 12/4/2018 at around 8:00am. When I was ready to checkout, a somewhat friendly cashier was ringing up all of my items. I has bought 4 Tic Tac's which rang up as $1.39 each. I told her that the self price was $1.17, so she checked the shelf by her register and adjusted the price. I had 4 printed coupons(NOT COPIES) for $0.50 off on each of those Tic Tac's. Since the value of those 4 coupons was EXTREMELY HIGH, she had to call somebody for approval. A short black lady with short hair, no smile, horrible attitude and no name tag shows up. She said that Target does not accept printable coupons. That's not what it says on the Target website. I said that's fine, just because I didn't wanted to argue with her over $2.00($0.50x4) worth of coupons. I also had a 20% off coupon from my previous online purchase. I had printed it from my email and brought it to the store. She refused that coupon as well unless I open my email and find that coupon and show it to her. OMG!!! at this point I was extremely frustrated and starting to lose my mind. What kind of DUMB and STUPID people does Target Hire??? The cashier had to suspend my transaction while I find that coupon from my email. I wasted another 15 minutes digging through my email to find the coupon bar-code that I was already holding in my hand. A half hour shopping run to Target turned into a one hour nightmare. After I finally found the coupon, she wanted to ring up my transaction, so that she can harass me some more. She personally started ringing up each and every one of my items, even though she could have very easily pulled it up from the suspended transaction receipt. She started arguing with me about the Tic Tac's price, which was previously resolved by the previous cashier. She checked my phone to make sure that the 20% off coupon was from my email. Finally, the nightmare ended after I paid for my items. She did not say THANK YOU or SORRY. Never again I want to go through all that mental stress ever again!!! She ruined my whole day. When I asked the customer service employees for her name, they would not...
Read moreI didnât like my visit. I needed assistance to find items. The employees who were available were very unhelpful and uncaring. My trip was unnecessarily prolonged (2 hours) because I had such a hard time finding the specific items I needed. My shopping trip was so time consuming that I ran out of time because the store was closing. The pesky, automated voice made me feel extremely irritated. Does Target find it absolutely necessary to remind customers that the store is closing with a frequent countdown via intercom system. The tactic is redundant and pain inducing for customers who need help with their shopping experience. I didnât want to give up but time became the invisible enemy. I noticed employees standing idol and watching me intensely with impatient facial expressions and aggravated body language poses. Why were the employees such in a hurry to leave their workplace? Were they trying to run off on the Plug? I finally made it to the cashier. She was such in a rush to check me out that I didnât have enough time to enter my telephone number in the keypad to apple My Target Circle earnings. I asked her was it possible for her to manually enter my number and she said, âNo.â The cashier began to annoy me because she asked me several times to open a âMineCraftâ, themed toy chest that I was purchasing. I complied with each request and informed her that there was nothing in the toy chest. Why was the cashier so adamant about checking and rechecking the chest? Did she think that I was or would attempt to hide store products in the chest and steal from Target. I had zero intentions on visiting an establishment and shoplifting. I love Target. Itâs my favorite store to shop for my household needs. The cashierâs behavior made me feel sad and racially profiled. I donât ever want to experience that feeling again. It had an lasting, emotional impact on my view of how other races perceive American born people with brown skin. Thank you for taking the time to read my honest and...
Read moreJust had a very creepy experience in this Target at 11:00 AM on a Thursday. I placed an online pick up order last night and forgot a few things. I went into the store today to purchase the few extra things before going to the drive up outside to get my order. I walked in carrying only my phone, keys and a small wallet in my hand. I walked through clothes looking at a t-shirt, then went through bath, pets, shampoo and personal care and picked up 4 items. In the personal care area I stopped at the end of a rack of q-tips and stood there for a minute looking at the packages trying to figure out the difference in the color of the packs. As I'm standing there I realize there is a very tall man standing to my right about 5 feet away facing me and just staring at me. He was wearing all black but not a uniform or name tag etc. Just standing there expressionless staring at me in the eye. I looked him, made direct eye contact for a moment and thought well this is very weird and a bit scary. I put the q-tips in my hand basket and headed to the checkout. Standing in self-check out with the 4 items I was scanning them in the target app to see if there were any discounts while I waited in line. The same man comes walking up from the left side and walks closely behind me and stands off again to my right outside of the checkout line next to the area with the low priced dollar stuff. I checked out and went to the car and then moved to the pickup space and got my order. I have been shopping at this Target since 2007, it's the store closest to my house. I do Shipt delivery and drive up as well from this location. This is the first time I have ever felt uncomfortable or unsafe inside this store. I may reconsider shopping at this location going forward and instead make the drive...
