Have passed this place a hundred times and didn't realize what I was missing . Looks small from Watson Rd. / Chippewa, but this place is huge and packed with 50's , 60's and retro items . Saw a few art deco pieces, too. Friendly and helpful staff . CHECK IT OUT. PARKING IN THE REAR

Love this store. Have been to dozens of resale vintage shops in STL and this is one of my favorites. Lots of mid century and pyrex.

So many high quality treasures here, I can’t recommend them enough - the staff are so knowledgeable and passionate about their wares. I’ve only been a few times but they have always been so helpful in guiding me to what I’m looking for, so very personable too.

Recently, my partner and I have become dissatisfied with the quality & cost of replacing certain housewares regularly - namely fragile plastic products such as razors and kitchen food storage containers. To our delight, TFA not only had a wide selection of offerings of vintage stainless steel refillable razors (the replacement blades are found elsewhere but they have the durable stainless-steel handles here), but they also had fully-glass kitchen food storage containers in different price ranges (of which can be microwaved, used in the oven, & are dishwasher safe too). In addition to all being in wonderful condition, they kindly wrapped the delicate items. We brought them home & easily freshened them up with a bit of vinegar and baking soda, and are now permanent staples in our home.

Please consider shopping local here - they have many items that you will find to be of better quality than most big box stores, and the friendliest staff around. It’s more than worth...

Chic, affordable, midcentury, and some contemporary, furnishings, housewares, and clothing. TFA has both pristine originals, e.g., Bertoia Chairs, Lane Acclaim surfboard coffee and end tables, Broyhill Brasillia dressers, Danish modern buffets; and gently used replicas. I've purchased Arthur Umanoff bar stools, Marcel Breuer Cantilever chair replicas (which I like better than the originals), Saarinen Chair replicas, and an Overman club chair; all for about 70% below the inflated price listed on a popular vintage furniture website. The staff are friendly and willing to work with you. Claude, the owner, appreciates educated buyers because they become lasting customers. Ask lots of questions. Do your homework. Create a win-win arrangement, like combining the purchase of newly-arrived pieces with the purchase of items that haven't found a loving home in a long time, and everyone walks away happy. You'll find you've purchased unique pieces that won't date your home (because their aesthetic surpasses fleeting fashion trends) and that will last a lot longer than most newly manufactured items. I highly recommend doing...

TFA is a great place to find the Fifties, Mid-Century Modern, Sixties, Seventies, and sometimes Art Deco. Claude is very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about what you're looking for if you have a specific treasure you looking to find. Prices are reasonable and he gets new treasures all the time. If you're looking for specific kitchen items along with living room items, every accessory for your bar, and decorative decor. Living room furniture, kitchen furniture, credenza, cabinets, hassocks, desks, light fixtures, lamps you name it Claude most likely has it for you. This shop is one of my favorites and I know the owner as well, which makes it even more enjoyable. It's definitely, a must-stop to see what it offers, you won't regret it and it's huge inside don't let looks deceive you. Support your locally owned businesses to keep them in our communities. Parking in the back, just go to the stop sign by Le Grand & make a left, then go thru the alley past the Firehouse over to the back of the store,...
